AnonD-455449, 24 Oct 2015That's it, I'm giving up on this ZUK Z1, switching back to... moreI'm using zuk z1 from last couple of days and I feel there is no problem of heating like you say.. It's a perfect phone with the best options.. In just loving it.. The quality and built is really fantastic with features like finger print sensor..
Camera is good not great but still it's above average.. Low light vision is little ofa concern otherwise it's a good good phone.. I had used lg g3 dual and the screen drinks the battery juice like anything..

Heating, I experience from time to time, not that severe, and not something I didnt have on Sony

              Haha you're kidding right?

The LG G3 is far worse than this phone. It has a Quad HD display that sucks all your battery. The Optimus UI sucks and the new lollipop upgrade sucks too. You don't have a fingerprint scanner and no USB Type-C. The back cover is also made of plastic so there's no "quality" advantage there. They share the same processor and graphics chip, but the experience on the ZUK Z1 is better with Cyanogen Mod. Cyanogen will allow to regularly have updates, whereas LG has given up the G3. Last time I could update my phone it was 7 months ago, and Lollipop is really bad on this device. The battery on the ZUK is better. It comes with 3GB of RAM, whereas the LG G3 16GB has only 2GB. The 32GB version has 3GB but it's much more expensive. Even if you don't have a microSD slot, you have a 64GB memory. The screen is better on the ZUK because you can change the white temperature. Under Sunlight, you can't see anything on the G3, the ZUK Z1 is brighter and you can put a warmer, more yellow color to the white of the screen so your eyes are more comfortable when you're in bed before sleeping.

So, why get an LG G3? Get a ZUK Z1... I'm going to sell mine for the ZUK cause LG was good at first but made a bad move with Lollipop and the QuadHD display.

In my opinion, the spec' is better - enough to position ZUK brand away from lenovo. CM 12 out of the box (with future support) bigger battery (number 10 on the endurance list as of 30th oct 2015), type C reversible usb, fingerprint sensor. Good start - watch out one plus.

Those living in middle east can buy LG G3 Dual sim for same price. And LG G3 is far better than this phone. LG G3 is a quality product unlike zuk.

I have previously insisted on mSD chip becoz 64G was so costly, BUT with 64G at this price AND with the fast USB3 socket for infrequent data movement, I am now willing to live without a removable chip!!!

It does become hot after I played games like COC or voice call(Wechat) or via my internet data plan. Using Waze while charging also getting a bit hot but that is almost same as every device i have encountered.

55% more expensive but do less? Under heavy usage P70A last almost the same time as this unit, normal usage P70A did last half day longer. However, in terms of extra features, clearer screen and silkiness/speed of the phone operation, I couldn't imagine what is the "less" you are talking about except battery duration.

The only phone comparing to mine is ZUK 1. Which is mine S860 and the battery is almost the same as ZUK 1 that is 4100mAh. The only I recomended is Lenovo based in its quality and performance. But this is the killer 3GB ram on the go makes me sweat.

Also it's not fair to compare for battery durability between P70A and Z1, different processors and RAM. Even the display size and pixel density is not the same.
