A very problematic phone! Have had so much hassle with this, battery life, freez up. Connection, and so on and so on.................. Nice looking but kind of ends there!

BL40 is a smartphone.i like to in this phone daul UI screen and 4.1 inchs big screen with 16 mill colore.You get a great full browser and also email instant massaging.This phone multi touch input method used.5MP camera is good and edit option is very good like geo tagging'hlink delection,image sabillization.and good price 24500.over all this phone is unic smart phone

bought this phone a week ago.
slow firmware.
nice design,
substandard capacitive touchscreen compared to my samsung i8910HD.
speed texting via alphanumeric keypad is worse, full qwerty texting in ok. but 90% of the time we text via one hand alphanumeric keypad.
i will go for my samsung i8910hd anytime.
selling it for 24,000 pesos. with warranty.

Hi all, I'm back again! :)
Regarding the battery, I noticed that it can last long (for me at least 2 days) - its just a matter of removing all vibration settings. Not just lessen the vibration, remove it. The vibration eats a lot of the battery. You don't need vibration if you are alerted by sound to be notified or for the responses.
Remove all vibration in:
- Sound Alert Setting
- Ringtone Setting
- Video Ringtone Setting
- Message Tone Setting
- Touch Setting
- Alarm Setting
- Games Setting
- Apps Setting
That's it! You can maximize your LG Chocolate to its full potential. No worries on battery life, you can charge it not that frequent.

i have this phone since 3 months and its cool one ..guyz if u need to use for long time battery just decrease the vibration level from +6 to -2 and just reduce some more tweaks u will get the result.

This phone is just bravo! Have used it for a week now. The length of the phone actually is pretty unique but as u hold it for long, u wil find that the phone length actually prevents you from dropping it. You will noe why when you hold it for long! The touch sensitivity is pretty good too (Even though Iphone still wins). But I will prefer BL40 to Iphone as Iphone is too common now!!!!! and I dun use Itunes AT ALL!!!

tomas, 19 Jan 2010nice phone, was about to buy, looked at the size, 128mm lon... moresize is not Real problem in this phone. because you would have to adapt. actually problem is the battery. despite all the advantages possessed features BL40, you may need to provide a backup battery to far travel.
