Ive had the lg bl40 now for a couple of days. Think the phone is great all the features are fantasic, screen is like no other. Battery life very poor. But you cant have it all. LG are unique within themselves. Am normaly a Nokia user but have been converted to LG. Have no complaints about the phone, yes it is big but its big for a reason. I also have the Iphone and have to say this BL40 comes close.

my bl40 's screen goes blank during incoming and outgoing call and the only lock key also doesnt work!!during that particular time..do anyone know why?i ve checked settings and all manual there is no troubleshooting like that...

How do set up picture messagin on this phone? cant send or receive them, only text and internet work.
Btw the battery life used to suck but I did an update and it seems to last longer now.

Just bought the phone, like the review said it is a fingerprint magnet. also due to the narrow phone size,when u hold it in your hand and your fingers curl round the phone, your fingers are very easy to touch the touch screen and accidentally activate the menu icon. so be careful.

net is very slow, and used to restart automatically.....

lia, 30 Dec 2009how is the music player of this phone is like nokia?music player on LG BL40 wayy betta than noki what ? hha . Plus it got dolby mobile sorround system . u can view it in potrait ,n landscape(much more pleasant this way) ,just check the review here in gsmarena . .

that screen with 2.21:1.0 wide screen ratio. is so awesome! and you can watch DIVx/Xvid videos. on this!!

The phone is great especially with the 21:9 aspect ratio movies work just great giving out great sound with the dolby surround sound technology i think its one of the greatest phones this year.

Khemra, 23 Dec 2009I Love It.And......When LG Lollipop Release ?thats funny cz i love LG lollipop too hha , but sadly the one that just released in taiwan ,china n hk , singapore,europe n north america in 2010 codenamed LG GD580 ,its a bit downgrade to original korean LG Lollipop (LG KH8000) some of main downgrade is the LED which is now only 7x15 LED compared to 14x15 LED :( and also the inside camera which is 1.3mp ,now only 0.3mp . but the gud thing we got fm tuner n java .

too bad i live in semarang hha. . well of course it's worth it , u got design n multimedia powerhouse in 1 device hha. . thinking of buying it from ebay ,but u know how to calculate the tax is ? thx. .

I think this choco's design no match than any others phone on earth, makes any others look obsolete, but seriously the battery life make it sucks, wonder if LG provide optional larger battery ?

what?, 26 Dec 2009so expensive!!! if you want HD phones and can play divx/... moreThe 300 x 800 allows for cinema wide screen nativly. You won't end up with letterboxing meaning you get to use the whole of the screen! If we are all honest the resolution of mobile handsets are terrible! mobile manufacturers could offer us so much more then they do!

so expensive!!!
if you want HD phones and can play divx/xvid
better choose Samsung...the price is quite different!!
samsung is more cheaper, but the technology is uncomparable!
LG new choco: pixel 300 (something) x 800
4.1 inch
samsung jet: pixel 480 x 800 (more reliable and clearer)
3.1 inch but 16m OLED screen... absolutely very much clearer!!!
