for goodness sakes u ppl complaining about games its a phone and for u that want ringotnes i d/l what i wanted (unuasual classical tones no one ever has ) and it worked amazing isnt it never had a prob with receiving mms and why on earth do ya want a cam on it for anyway to spend ya money quicker ???? its a good phone sure not ya typical wanky phone so ya can go around goin hey look what mine phone does tis small lightweight makes and receives calls tis all ya need in a phone

All right i've set my GPRS settings for the phone already... my homepage and all that stuff i still can't get MMS from my friends GAHHH can someone help me ?

I love the look of this phone. I would reccomend this phone except there are just some things that really annoy me about it.
Firstly the alarm. If you put the phone on silent, the alarm doesnt go off. So then I have to go into my profile every night and put the ring off and the message tone to No Tone. this is time consuming.
Secondly the message tones. There is no way you could hear those 4 stupid tones unless your right near the phone all day every day. Also I was hoping that the light on the front would stay lit, so you could see if a message came.
But other than those things, the phones wicked. I love it. If anyone knows anything about the problems I mentioned then PLEASE email me.

@farooq: No, the you can open the phone and see who's calling... About the phone, its design it's kind of nice, but I don't really like it, it's just too simple.

very smooth design.. i like it. my problem with it is that you don't have many options with ringtones etc. visually and for basic use though, it's good.

i wana buy this phone as its cheap but i have one question ( from a person who is using it) these clamshells have one problem, when some one calls and u dont know who is calling and u open it and as u open it the line connects (even if u dont want to attend the call) my question is "did this phone has that problem"? any one wana help me mail me at "tnt716@hotmail.com" thanks.

Okay this phone is pretty Crappy if you really think about it!
1. Doesnt have any games whatsoever!
2. Sms is slow!
3. You got crap as ringtones & ive tryed like every site on the friggen net and there is none at all- no polyphonic ones!
4. it hasnt got a camera!
& 5 you cant recieve mms which is really bad!
overall i would rate it 4 outta 10 ,anyone thinking about getting this phone try maybe thinking again.. cheers :D

I love the lg c1100, u stoopid ppl who cant get rigntones and games and wallpapers go to www.directringtones.com u can get games ringtones and wallpapers for ur c1100

Is the any physical notification that you have recieved a message etc. on the front of the phone. For example the Samsung e600 has a light that flashes on the front.
Also are you able to messages into different folders rather than just 1 inbox? Organisation so to speak.
Is the memory suffient? 1mb shared for all features is not alot compared to other phones.

hey dudes! i got the LG C1100 a while ago. Yeah, it WOULD be cool if it had a camera and more games, but it is an awesome phone! i love it 2 bits. If ne1 out there is wanting 1, i say go 4 it! i got mine with virgin mobile and its pretty good. all my frnds go "awww, wat a cute fone" and they think its really cool. so dont listen 2 every1 else coz no fone is perfect, but the LG C1100 is gr8!

I think this is a small flipphone, but u cant receive MMS! Or download RINGTONES + WALLPAPERS! Im on optus-prepaid and i wasted $29 trying to download tones. They could have atleast had a camera, coz i have had this phone 4 about 3months and m bored, Does anyone know where i can get a LG C1100 Data cable. Thanks

I was seriously having second thoughts about the phone after reading the reviews. It is a fantastic phone, and once I enabled WAP/MMS through my phone provider, I have successfully downloaded games from mobilebop.com.au and ringtones from optuszoo. Throughly recommend this phone A+++

Hi, I am Ranga, a doctor from Colombo, Sri Lanka. I bought a LG C1100 for about 179USD, but it worked only 2 months, boosh! the chip of the phone goes for a six. It starts like this. First the power automatically switches off. Then you cant charge the damn thing because the charging indicator does not appear. More to the frustration, you can't swith the thing on without removing the battery and re-inserting it. I got a second phone (warranty) and the software, font and color schemes are totally different!!!!! Horror of horrors, after only 2 weeks there goes the chip! I think this phone should be black listed because I think sweat damages the phone very quickly, making it highly unsuitable for hot humid countries and sea side towns.
