Same as many other users, i do not recommend anybody to buy this phone. It freezes, hangs, resets itself constantly. CONSTANTLY. while you are surfing the net, talking , checking mails. Frustrating and ridiculous for a device that costs so much to be so sub standard.

I do not recommend this phone nor any other LG phones at all. A couple hundred of us got these phones from a competition and most of them (including 4 of the 8 of us in Jamaica) had their phones bricked or some other hardware problem. (freezes at LG screen) Most of us are software engineers so of course we exhausted all software fixes and nothing. When doing an internet search, people with later models of this phone's hardware have the same problem so it seems LG didn't fix existing hardware faults.
During my 1 year use of the phone, I had sound problems (sound going on and off) due to the hardware thinking there is a headphone plugging in and out.
Phone. Not. good.

the best of the best on that price, run fast no bags amazing gps with navigon select, amazing batery life for smartphone, robust design, all the necessary apps exist, bye-bye iphone4...
cons: low volume speakerphone, no secondary cam for skype-tango etc the video-calls works with the back cam, you have to be front of a mirror haha

My phone keeps on turning off and when it opens it says I have to reset it because the mmc is not functioning well. What do I have to do? I only used 3gig from its 14 gig memory.

My sister gave my LG E900, its from SG. I love it except that when I copy songs from my laptap to my phone. When I erase the file in my laptap and reconnect my phone it also got erased.

-Bootloader: 1.5.0.0
-Chip SOC: 0.30.2.0
Do anybody know how to install Android on LG E900 Optimus, as it shares the same HW as of HTC Desire / HTC Nexus One. But both the HTC models has the Android. Also I know one of my friend, who has installed both WM 7.0 and Android 2.4 on his HTC HD2.
So my question is that
"Is it possible to install Android as well as WM7/7.5 on my LG Optimus 7?"

I just recently updated the OS of my Optimus E900. This was an update done after the Mango release. Now:
-OS: 7.10.8107.79
-FW: 1.0.16.10
-HW: 1.0.0.0
-Radio: 1.0.16.10
-Radio HW: 0.3.5.0
-Bootloader: 1.5.1.0
-Chip SOC: 0.30.2.0
I don't know which of those version was updated since I don't keep track of the previous version.
Now after the update, I have a new function under Setting called Internet Sharing. My phone now can act as a WiFi router.
I tried to check updates for my other 2 Windows Phone Dell Venue Pro and HTC Surround, but no more update available after being updated to Mango. Both my Dell Venue Pro and HTC Surround don't have the Internet Sharing function.
It could be that the latter two phone don't really support it or they don't have the hardware to make it happen.
I now love my LG Optimus more, because of this new function. Question now is, what other Windows Phone that can do Internet Sharing?
