Hi I am using LG G2... Now running very smooth in 4.2.2 Jelly bean.. But i want to upgrade 4.4.2 Kitkat. But My mobile did not notify new software available.. Also i checked Settings> General > About Phone > Update center > Software Update is there. But when i go to software update there is 2 options only available. Continue Update and Check automatically with selected tick. If i give continue update(over wifi as well as 4g), its telling new software is downloading. Check in notification panel. But nothing happening. How can i upgrade? Please help me. Update wil automatically arrive for me?? Any help.. please.

Try installing BatteryGuru (esp. made for Qualcomm Snapdragon) in Google Playstore, will make your G2 battery efficient. Also try using CleanMaster and customize the way its cleans G2's RAM. From 1gb free RAM i manage to have 752mb as standby during idle. just my 2 cents.

Guys, i just bought an lg g2, but im having problem with the battery. I know that it has the best battery life out there but after i charge my phone for.the first time for 8 hours it drained from 100% down to 40 with in just 3 hours of stand by. Is this normal for the first few charges? But now that im using it, it seems normal.

go to system settings -> general -> about phone -> update center -> software update
be ware of your battery and internet/wi-fi when it's still updating, better to prepare or pause if your battery is low
file size is about 500mb if i'm wrong

I have just upgraded my G2 to Kitkat. My opinion is as follows:
- knock knock feature reacts much better
- everything runs much faster and smoother
- immersing mode is perfect
- camera reacts much faster
- the only downside that i have noticed is that the aspect ratio setting does not exist any more.
