I like this phone, not only its powerfull specification but also the breaking user experience, & its innovative design. KnockOn / KnockOff is definitely one of the best mechanism to wake up your smartphone, instead of pressing the power button. The camera is great too, and my phone running on Android version 4.4.2 (Kit Kat) since March, 2014. I personally suggest this phone because its so compact, and so much better compare to other.

ALI, 10 Apr 2014im very confused b/w lg g2 and xperia z1.....which fone has... moredefinitely lg g2. the overall performance of g2 is much higher. the battery life. screen type / resolution.
g2 is so much faster than Sony. the sony has better camera but cmon spend your money on the right place, it's a phone not camera. G2 cam is good enough. you can google the high resolution pictures taken by g2. g2 is slimmer and has a very nice design. Buy n u wont regret it ;)

Did you know that you can use the camera app through the G2's quickwindow case. By pressing volume down for a few seconds the camera app will launch at the quickwindow case. I just found about it a while ago. I thought only the LG G Pro2 has that feature. Just sharing.

I cannot able to get update.
If i search in Settings> General > About Phone > Update center > Software Update is there.
But when i go to software update there is 2 options only available. One is Continue Update and another is Check automatically with selected tick.
If i give continue update(over wifi as well as 4g), its telling (new software is downloading check in notification panel). But nothing happening.
How can i upgrade? Please help me. Update wil automatically arrive for me??

my phone just stoped working during the update, I was duing a update to kitkat... its just showing a pane:
boot system now
reboot system now
wipe cache
advanced
things like this... what I need to doo to have my phone working again??? help please

V20a-MAR-18-2014(543.85 MB) is the update for LG D802 to upgrade Operating system into 4.4.2 Kitkat. If you can download from WiFi, it will be better. =)

It is not always easy to adjust with newer things too quickly, i miss 4.2.2 very much. Enjoy the current version because you will have to leave it soon

Now running very smooth in 4.2.2 Jel... moreHi, My familiarity about G2 is because I own it, I switched from S4, I am pretty comfortable with the design and performance. Battery has a Noah 's life. Quick fast and pleasurable UI. After 4.4.2 has just been installed. At first instance i felt the device got a bit slow at reboot and switching between the apps. With the time I realized that performance during surfing interface has remarkably been increased. But that thing is now consuming much much battery and recharge time has also been increased. Generally I would say that LG G2 has got a big talent in it.

I have a bad experience with LG Renoir years ago.
The loudspeaker burst the second day when i watching video on it.
But i believe LG have comes a long way since then to improve its product quality.
Now this G2 really is a beautiful device.
But one thing i do not understand is why they stick to LCD screen instead of AMOLED.
I am not saying LCD's quality is any poorer than AMOLED. But i think it consume more battery for some standby application like Glance screen.
Just hope they will consider using AMOLED for their next flagship model.
