Im using LG g2. ITs been great for the past 5 months. But lately,There's a short cut called "Web Games" that keeps showing up on my Home Screen. I cannot trace where it came from. The short cut opens a Website called "h5playlist.com" which is a simple HTML 5 based Game Website with a few random games. The Whois of the Website traces to a Chinese Domain Name Provider, ename.com, and the games are provided by a German HTML 5 Game company, softgames.de.
I did a couple of times of factory reset but no luck. How will this annoying shortcut be removed?

g2 has many variants wich provides good things to each one ,if u took the g2 as ur phone u did great this device is a beast and even can beat new mid rangers, even it is most powerfull than g3 if we take raw performance based on ,on screen graphics .... longer battery life and keep nice camera features that u will miss atleast on it......
now back on g2 .. the t-mobile version is good because it is close to the d802 variant regarding to modding and unbrick solutions....i can recommend the device as per usage but u have to consider if this 801 variant use the right networks in ur country..... u are free to call ur carrier or service operator and check for the 3g/4g/lte networks ... i use a d800 wich use lte networks in my country ... u can google or simply call them like i said ..keep in mind that the operator of ur choice may not provide lte but other carriers in ur contry may provide the lte service ..... getting edge or 2g means no support for that.... keep in mind too that if everything works but no data make sure u have the correct apn settings configuration for ur device other wise u wont be able to connect,,,,, u can check ur networks if u go to SETTINGS / MORE NETWORKS OR MORESETTINGS ( just below data usage ) / MOBILE NETWOKS in this place u can find if u have the correct apn settings for ur carrier and network mode so u can check if ur device is set for the right frequencies

Just updated to lollipop, my personal opinion, LG cut most of the premium futures. Lollipop is a step back for the g2 users. If they dont push 5.1 in near future i not gonna buy LG phone again!

Then click right here on the "specifications" tab and there you have it under "network" (you may need to click on it to expand the full info).
Then compare if the frequencies listed by your provider corespond with the frequencies supported by the "D801" variant (the T-mobile one).

emmy, 06 Dec 2015Hello goodmorning..I bought a g2 t-mobile phone..but the 3g... moreRight here in the comments...even but a few posts below your own... there are just so many warnings that you should always check the frequency compatibility before you buy a device intended for a foreign market.
There may be something wrong with the phone but first and foremost, check if your chosen variant (D801 I think) supports the frequencies used in Nigeria. If not, the by far easiest solution is to return the device and buy a suitable variant instead.

I just upgrade my LG G2(d802)form kitkat to lollypop(5.0.2) through PC,now problem is screen display went off itself ,only while charging display don't go off and work properly.........i need expert 's suggestion

Tushar, 04 Dec 2015lg g2 korian varson perfect ?? & lg g2 global varson pa... moreThe Korean version has smaller but replaceable battery and an SD card slot. Otherwise there are no visible differences.
But take care if you want to use the LTE. Check the LTE bands used by your carrier and then compare if the phone supports them- the Korean version of the G2 actually contains of THREE subvariants each supporting a different set of frequencies.
Also check the seller. There are many "refurbished" G2s which don't work properly.

last night i update my Os from kitkat to 5.0 ..
on kitkat my phone used to drop battery from 100 to 94 very fast..
on 5.0 my phone did drop battery fast.... i am Happy with 5.0
