Anonymous, 13 Dec 2015thanks.... but I really like LG G3s design more than LG2s d... moreagain it depens on u....if u want to save money and get a cool phone g2 is for u but if u want dsing and a few little better things then get g3 ... still for me G2 is betetr not for saving money well atleast for me 32gb of space is good,besides we are not servers for carry a lot of information ... i guess that we could use a laptop....usb,portable harddrive ,even otg usb if u want to carry files and keep them with u...... again thats my opinion.

Azad, 13 Dec 2015Plz tel me guys witch is good an beter phone lg g2 sony z1 Back buttons, SD Card and water resistance are about the biggest differences there are. The rest are software functions and unique gimmicks of the UI overlay and that's highly subjective. These phones were direct competitors back in the day, neither of them is clearly superior. Check out the software gimmicks, that's what is going to decide.

I have bought new de... moreThat is not wrong. Snapdragon 800 is a marketing name similar to Pentium or Core ix, the technologies behind the marketing name have different names and this one really uses ARMv7 instruction architecture.
I downloaded Antutu myself and it said my CPU was ARMv7 Processor (VFPv4,Neon). Then I ran the benchmark, went back to system info, scrolled down to the CPU section and tapped "more" on the core info. This showed the core architecture is Krait 400 and the model name displayed as Snapdragon 800, as it should be.

G4 user, 11 Dec 2015for all of u let me tell u if u go for G2 u are taking an a... morethanks.... but I really like LG G3s design more than LG2s design and on the other hand LG G3 has removable battery, and SD card slot..... the price difference between G2 and G3 is about 100 USD , LG G2 (150 USD) and LG G3 (250 USD), my question is is it worth to spend extra 100 USD on lg g3.... I am confused..?????

Can somebody tell me is my LG clone ?
I have bought new device in Vodafone package, and antutu v6.0 CPU Model showed: Quad-Core ARMv7 Processor (VFPv4,Neon) instead Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 ???!!!
Everything else is as it should be, so I am wondering is it a clone ?

for all of u let me tell u if u go for G2 u are taking an amazing phone lg G3 has minor upgrades but not shared at maximun for example ......... 2k screen is not as bright as the one on G2 ..has better contrast even being 1080p wich is betetr for me ..... camera deparment G2 is betetr for me and user friendly because for non tech people can simply select the right scene ... but g3 lacks of many options and if u dont know anything about iso...exposure or something like that then ur pics will look good but not at best ..... it is clearly better for focus yes due to the new tech it has but it is just that ...sd801 even being faster ... works slower due to the lot of pixels ... sd800 on lg G2 works way better due to it has less pixels ...... and result is more battery. aboput updates lg italian twiter account says that g2 IS ELEGIBLE FOR FUTURE UPDATES SO ATLEAST i want G2 with 5.1.1 and G4 interface...

Anonymous, 10 Dec 2015hi guys need your help.... which one is good LG G2,LG3,I r... moreG3 hase marginally better hardware, laser focus on camera and MUCH higher resolution display. That's the bottom line. The display is just too much of an overkill so it can drain the battery noticeably faster and to use more demanding apps with the resolution tends to tax the SoC too much-> further battery drain and heat.
G2 is a well rounded device with no advantages or disadvantages sticking out too much. So decide on whether you need that laser focus (and more likely Android 6 update) and much higher resolution.

My G2 keeps popping the words
" Hardware key control mode.
LCD appears to be damaged" and i can seem to scroll freely, yet i have just bought the phone. WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM AND WHAT CAN I DO TO FIX IT?

hi guys need your help.... which one is good LG G2,LG3,I really like LG3 ..... but I heard there are some problems like HEATING,LAGGING,LESS BATTERY TIMING, what you say guys should I go for it or not....It costs me abut 250USD....I use camera alot , display,performance (Just for watching movies not a heavy android gamer) and Battery LIFE ,.... which one is good to go for about 2-3 years.... or What you say about LG G2 so I may save about 100 USD....any other suggestions under this price range will highly apriciated...thanks

Burg, 07 Dec 2015Ill start with few,lock screen weather animations,wi-fi fil... moreI agree with the WiFi file transfer, that one I liked too and they did remove it, but the others... I'm almost certain the lockscreen widgets were culled because of the new security measures in Lollipop, so that's not just the LG hating on G2 but rather a Google decision affecting all Lollipop-running phones.
And for the weather animations... Maybe something went wrong with your update as I still have them. The main widget was redesigned to conform to the new Material design but if you open it up, the animations are still there. So are the weather animations on lockscreen, that one still works.

As for updating: you certainly can't update it through your local mobile networks but it may still be possible through the WIFI or through the LG PC Suite(although this is often problematic for variants used away from their originally intended region). It will be definitely possible to update it manually by using the files and guides from XDA.
If you can't return the device, then I guess that's one of your last hopes- the XDA forum is populated by developers and enthusiasts who can teach their phones to make them a sandwich. You may be able to find some kind of a workaround or a possible fix there, but you need to read properly, read a lot and even if you do everything by the book, the possibility of causing irreversible damage to your device can never be completely dismissed so if you decide to follow one of their guides, be aware that it's solely your choice and your responsibility. Try to check that out in the settings-security if there aren't one too many managers sporting a weird name.

Im using LG g2. ITs been great for the past 5 months. But lately,There's a short cut called "Web Games" that keeps showing up on my Home Screen. I cannot trace where it came from. The short cut opens a Website called "h5playlist.com" which is a simple HTML 5 based Game Website with a few random games. The Whois of the Website traces to a Chinese Domain Name Provider, ename.com, and the games are provided by a German HTML 5 Game company, softgames.de.
I did a couple of times of factory reset but no luck. How will this annoying shortcut be removed?
