You can update via ROM to 7.1.1 via CR Droid, which is nearly 100% stable 24/7

Very good phone. Everything works well for more than two years for how long I have it. Everything but battery. I've changed 3 batteries already.

i think lg is the best phone i ever had quality good screen clear and pic are wonderful i love it event the volumen is so clear just take care of it will last

The phone is good. However, be aware that there have been some reports of the G3 having a "blue screen of death". you can google it. i experienced it, the phone just all of a sudden goes off and starts showing a blue screen and enters an endless loop. So far i have not been able to fix mine.

I think you might want to search for Asus zenfones. Somewhat similar in looks especially at the back. My new phone is redmi note 4x and I'm very satisfied.

So my beloved LG G3 finally broke after one drop too many. I need a new phone now but am struggling to find anything with the aspects of the G3 that I like...
Very small phone for a 5.5 screen.
Volume on back.
Tap screen to unlock.
Can anyone suggest a newer phone with the above aspects?
If not, I might just buy another G3 and update it to Marshmallow.
Love that phone so much
