Daytime 40-60% at direct sun light is super enough,
there is not reason at all to go 100%brightness, plus it will hurt your eyes.
Battery at Full use gps/net/gaming NON STOP last: 6:30 hours at kitkat
Lollipop propably 20-30% more(ill test full use at lollipop and tell u soon)
DO HARD RESET AND ALL IS PERFECT...NOT SOFT...
Battery with really light use and mostly use for photos/calls and 20 min a day net surfing:
5+days on Lollipop
4+days on kitkat

I just boguht this device its awesome i upgraded to lollipop at once its very good smartphone if its not the best . only concern is battery life and for me around 5 - 6 on screen time more than enough great camera great sound overall im happy n satisfied thanks lg :) dont believe trolls guys or ppl with bad devices mine is d855 32 model

I was actually concerned hearing the crash and lag issues in Lollipop. Some reviews suggested heavy battery drain in lollipop. And also what are the main changes??
Any improvements regarding speed or interface?
Should I factory reset before upgrading?

After 2 days upon 5.0 update, I've also noticed a drastic battery consumption( some internet browsing only), and now a weaker data signal. An hour of battery charging but cellphone off (from 20%). Everything is excellent though.

Just download additional camera apps like google camera from app store.

Hi,I bought LG G3 last week. There is an update available both in LG PC suite and over wifi. The 530 MB update seemed to be lollipop update. Have anyone updated ??? What are the changes? An problems that you faced???
I was quite surprised to see G3 lacks camera options compared to G2. Is there any way of accessing more advanced options in camera?
Everything was fine but as i continued snapping photos for about 2 hours I found the device was getting hot and brightness reduced to 8o% which I could not increase. I am keeping 50% auto brightness from then. Anyone faced such problems???
Battery backup is average as I experienced. It just draws too much juice, the monster display. 50% brightness with 2 hours of browsing and about one hour of games gives me almost a full day service.

It depends of your usage habits i would say.
G3 is far better for battery and resolution, but Alpha got an edge for size and speed.
