is this phone any good? i am between Xperia Z1, LG G3 and Galaxy Alpha. from the specs LG G3 looks good, still i am having second thoughts regarding the others.

Successfully updated to Android 5.0 ver V20b. I like face detection so much, lovely UI, super smooth and fast performance. Battery so good, maybe because i perform a hard reset after my update. Thanks to LG & my network Smart for the update! Cheers...

Anonymous, 07 Jan 2015Should I buy the G3 or Z3?I have g3 and my friend has Z3. Looks and ui wise i like g3 better. But Z3 is great cos of water resitance and underwater pics etc. Battery life on z3 is better too apparently.
Overall i m happy with my G3.

I installed n tried a few and realised that my phone got better battery life without them. Well either that or maybe i was doing something wrong. I dont know, just sharing my perspective

If you are having problem with the battery life of your LG G3. Try to download battery doctor application. Charge your phone til its full, wait til your battery doctor notify that your phone is already fully charge. Then overcharge it for about 30mins.

My LG G3 D855 model has been on Lollipop for about 2 weeks now, but last night received a rather Small Update "V20f". The only enhancements noted as Google Patch. Did anyone else receive the same as well? Don't see any differences yet but I'll keep testing further.

LG G3 swype SUCKKKKKKKKKKS bad. Even type text is bad. I am so unhappy with the device. I was always a Samsung gal and I switched because of the camera. What a MAJOR HUGE mistake!!! You also can not assign custom text message alerts as you could with Galaxy. And yes, you MUST charge daily.

Tried to flash using LG Tool but it won't start the update... So i will just patiently wait for OTA.

Hi i have a lg g3 16gb international version bought fron uk and using in india for the past 7 days.no doubt its a fantastic phone but I have encountered a slight stutter when i scroll through the app drawer and then when i return back to the home screen. I have not yet updated my g3 yet. Will updating solve the issue??

Hi, I am using lg G3 16GB international version for the past 7 days now. No doubt its a fantastic phone but there is a stutter when i scroll through the app drawer.

I am very excited to buy this as an addition... moreyeah dont worry about Lag, ive had multiple pages open and not even a stutter, it manages RAM smartly, id say go for it. i highly doubt youll be disappointed, its an overall fantastic phone, the battery is really good even with the QHD display pushing all those pixels. i can take this phone out for a day or two and not worry about battery, the battery life improves after you start breaking it in. Also, this phone charges ridicously fast. idk if it has turbo charging or if its just the amount of Amps that the wall adapter has but it charges from 0-100 in about 1 and 10 minutes, tops is 1 hour and 25 minutes. you cant go wrong with this phone

Do you need the highest end phone or do you a phone that can get things done smoothly, i would say go for the G3, it a superb phone with a gorgeous design.
