You must set any one app* as the device administrator (go to settings, phone administrators). Or else you will get the warning.
* means - any one of these : Androiod device manager, mcafee security or the antivirus that you have installed.

I am just curious of All of u ppl have or pretenting to have those 2-3 problems, why me and my friend we Didn't face any problem at all...me am heavy net/social user and he is gamer...both have 32 gb version...Maybe u do mess with the option too much, since LG give u the opportunity to customise even more the phone...
Just update the phone and leave it as it Is..
Watch some videos how to treat Android..

Mostly, it is a software problem. Because LG uses its own software mixed with Andriod one in its G3 phone.
Practically, whatever LG engineers brilliancy level is, combining 2 softwares in one have its consequences!
Wondering why LG doesn't create its own one like Apple have, when they decided to do the first step, continue it...!!!!

This is your best and final solution before any new software update release by LG.
It worked for me. Ofcourse short battery and heating compared to other phones still exist but much less after 10i update and ART switch, only on heavy use you'll notice both problems.....

The problem relies on McAfee running all the time even after I stop it, add to that it pops up all the time in my notifications even after stopping, I clear it from notif. it pops up again after few minutes!!!!
Very disturbing really!!!

It just went black s... moreIn XDA, they called it "deep sleep" wherein you can't turn on the phone just by pressing the power button. instead, you have to remove the battery and it will work just fine just like you did. Sad thing is, NO solution yet.

Still, it tends to heat up quickly and restart most of the time. I tried to find a solution in xda forums and no luck for them too. (that's hundreds of pages that's complaining.)
Some of them are saying that it's a software/firmware bug and some say it's a hardware problem (I hope it's just a software problem as they can release a fix but NOT on hardware! I hate to return this phone..)

After using my G3 most of today hours. It just went black screen from an hour ago but the surprise was nothing working, not even the back button, but the wifi hotspot still running giving internet to my PC!!!!
How that happened!? Anyone experienced such black screen problem?!
After removing the battery the phone worked normally again!!!
