I have this phone.
1. It doesn't work properly in China.
2. An idiot wrote the software for the (contacts)address book - if their address does not suit google there is no way to input an address !!! STUPID
3. No way to turn on GPS by itself (it just has "location") arrogant software decision
4. It turns on by itself too much in my pocket or bag and changes settings and lock screen settings !!!
5. Because of 4 above the battery life is not good enough.
6. Not enough customisaton of colour settings. I like a dark/black screen with white writing. Why can't I have this with the LG GUI ??
Many many Dumb decisions LG !!!!!

lgg3owner, 15 Aug 2014Actually there is appreciable difference between HD and QHD... moreTechnology for technology's sake is never a good thing, ESPECIALLY if the difference is so minimal that it will not be noticed by the majority of consumers. The fact is, this is an answer to a question that was hardly ever asked. The majority of use-cases will NOT be to enjoy 2560x1440p content, but rather to do everyday tasks like check email, browse the web, play games, text, etc. 1080p is more than enough to deliver a class-leading experience, especially on a device that is as (relatively) small as a smartphone with a 5" screen.
Again, my problem with the QHD screen is that it sacrifices too much for so little, at a time when 4k video is still very new in peoples' minds.

Hello everyone... I bought the phone last week... Everything is really smooth... I did a factory reset and change the dalvik to art. But only problem i have is when i connect my phone to aux cable, it just get wierd with going to google now time to time... Anybody has same problem?? Can u help me?

The extra pixels doesnt suck that much battery power at least when comparing with samsung counterparts of the similar specs. It actually never slows the performance but contributes to little overheating. I hate to say that u've got a refurbished unit (if such thing exists !!)
Run an hd video of at least 1920x1080p res on this phone and another phone of similar specs and watch closely side by side. As long as the phone u r comparing with has the HD resolution i can bet u'll be able to see the difference if u r blessed with normal eye sight.
now do the same task, but this time run a 4K or 2560x1440p video and u r done. difference can be seen through naked eye.

This phone is nearly perfect, except for the display. For the vast majority of its userbase, there is no appreciable difference between HD and QHD on a phone of this size... so why do it? The extra pixels suck battery power, slow performance and probably contribute to overheating.
