altasde, 11 Aug 2014I called the LG service in Turkey and ask the heating issue... morewell I hope so..
That 70ºC is not an issue for CPU.
But the problems were the other component near the location of the CPU. The heating might cause some problem with the other parts(camera for example).
Turn on the High Temperature Property and also the Thermal Daemon Mitigation at the same time and observe the changes if you can.

          Good Morning every body,

I have bought this phone LG G3 from 5 days and disappointed sold it after only one day, i have read most of reviews before buying this phone then i decided to buy but after 1 day use only i have noticed alot of LAG even if i just write phone number in order to call so i didnt feel any high end or 801 SoC advantage in terms of performance it is really so lag in compare with high end phones, but it is really amazing has mostly all features in all phone amazing camera and battery.

conclusion: i will back to my NEXUS 4 (best phone ever) or i will buy NEXUS 5 those phones does not know what the word LAG means.

They told me that Cpu temp. 70'C isn't a problem. Because of the thin design the cooling takes time and because of the plastic design the user feel the temp.
Finally he said that "This heating won't give harm to your phone and you can use it easily.

Using video call while charging or playing games while charging. So I stopped doing that. My normal usage is around 67ºC.

Just the heating is what I'm concerned about.
I sent a message to LG support about this issue.
Hoping they will come up with a solution for this.
About High Temp Properties and Thermal Daemon Mitigation in the HIDDEN MENU I'm not sure for its function. I searched in the internet for a detailed explanation but haven't found one so i didn't try it.

Have rooted my phone before factory reset, couldn't remove it too!!! I think my phone is unrooted again after factory reset.
I can disable McAfee but preferred to app lock it by CM.
Doesn't it have same result as disable? But I don't want to see it anymore)))

Don't worry, smartphones are smart enough))) to turn itself off or maybe close some apps when it sees danger(very high heating) on CPU.
Anyway, you'll sense some serious lags(similar to laptops) in very high temperature, take it a signal to slow down your usage.
To make it short, the answer is in your reply " battery 20% at day end"
Have stated before, keep it over 50% and 75% the better. Try to keep it over 75% when using it in same way you had been doing and comeback with your experience.

I bought g3 4 days ago. The performance of the phone is outstanding.
But there is big heating problem.
In the morning the cpu temp is 39'C
After 2-3 minutes usage on internet the cpu temp rises to 48'C
And finally if I continue to play games on internet for about 15-20 minutes the cpu temp will rise to 70'C.

I think this is a hardware problem. I don't know what to do.

And I read something about "high temp. property". It is something about android. But I am an ex-phone user. So I am infamiliar about this issue.

By the way mine is connected to 4G connection all day.
From morning with the usage of more or less 1 hours playing Hero Dream, Video call with LINE APP for 45 mins and sending few messages, browsing web for 30 mins still has around 20% battery by the end of the day. Been observing this phone since the day i got it.

Don't forget we're in August, very hot.
Heating results in short battery life.
Best to do is lower the brightness to 30% when not using camera video, keep battery status over 50%, best over 75%(plugin charger when you're at home or office, not outside very busy etc). Lock your phone with the power bottom(back) instantly after finished using. Don't use under direct sunlight. Don't keep in vehicle(hot weather) even when not using.
Look at your phone memory to see unwanted apps despite yet to know the relation between memory used for apps running and apps downloaded, expenditure don't match in anyway!!!
75F is alright but 75C not good. Must not exceed 50C for best battery life.
