I bought my LG G3 two years ago, i like this phone too much
When i think of buying a new recent mobile
i find nothing attracting me to buy the new phone just only to change
but my LG G3 is still good

worked fine for 1.5yrs, later had re-boot loop problem. Fortunately had extended warranty, so free service with mother board and battery change done. Then phone worked fine for 6-8 mnths. I upgraded to android marshmello in the mean time. But again same problem started (restart problem) with key board behaving crazy. Again went for repair, with out any warranty. For repair they quoted price of new Lg3 price!!
I am planning to go for samsung now. Can any one tell me if i downgrade from android this problem solves? Thanks

am really dissapointed with LG G3. I think the manufacturers failed to tell us the problems that comes with G3 like the failure of IC for Wifi and bluetooth hence resulting to overheating and failure to fully boot when starting

My LG G3 never let me down, it lasted a long time, and ran like a master, the new phones (G4-G5) are BARELY better, litterally like 3 pixels better. I would buy another G3 over any other NEWER LG.

Yesterday I was walking home and cathing pokemons.. after 30min walking more or less, a message came up telling me the the phone overheat and it was turning off. Actually it was very very hot. I waited about 5min and it cool down and i turned it on again. I´m using Android MM.

my g3 sold today. its beautiful, premium, high end. but i notice a lot of failures with LG phones. my g3 display gone after mm update. signal problems, display failures can be seen with LG.
so Good bye G3 friends......

well if thats the case then you must have updated to last OTA and you have to properly FLASH a KDZ of your desired Android OS. then don't update and try to root via kingroot.
and after root don't update the OS, if so then maybe you'll lose the root and further rooting capabilities unless you repeat the above mentioned proces.
Moreover i have also tried to root my G4 F500L (Marshmallow) via kingroot but unable to do so and mostly there isn't any root available for my device yet.

But when i updated the OS to Marshmallow, i got the restart issue. The phone suddenly restarted itself. I changed battery, this wasn't resolve. Until now, not yet resolve. Crap!!!

lg g3 is such a remarkable phone. Don't regret purchasing this handset.What I like most of this device once you need a new battery the handset will tell you by shutting Off.

The has very good features the only problem I can complain about is the battery. After the first 6 months, the phone always switches itself off. The new batteries also do not solve the problem, they also overheat very quickly.
