The Z2 overcomes the G3 in every hardware and software aspect you can think off, and as gorgeous as the design of the G3 is, the 1440p has it's issues, and pretty big at that. Battery drain, overheating, forced low brightness due to heat, and worsened game performance due to an underpowered GPU (Adreno 330 runs better at 1080p) along with already showing app crashes makes the G3 a pretty doubtful best smartphone of the year.
I guess I'll stick with my 20mp 4k video waterproof Z2. Also, can the G3 make 720p video look like 1080p? The Z2's bravia engine can, and it makes everything look gorgeous.

The LG G3 had the potential to be THE smartphone of 2015... Everything was perfect: The gorgeous design, incredible screen size ratio, the specs, everything...
But the 1440p screen, the first of it's kind was bound to have some issues, and they dragged the phone down hard. Battery life issues, low brightness, overheating, and worsened game performance by packing a bigger resolution without an increased GPU for compensated 3d performance made this near-perfect phone something I and many users can't live with as much as we want that gorgeous smartphone.
Sorry LG, I wan't your phone, I really do, but why did you have to include a 1440p screen plagued with issues? Sorry guys but I speak nothing more than the truth. If anybody else was also let down go do yourself a favor and buy a Z2. It may lack the beautiful screen size the G3 has, but at least it has solid game and camera performance along with the waterproof build (Which I've tested in my local pool and shower countless of times)

V, 23 Jul 2014Anyone can confirm if there's a difference in performance b... moreWell if I am not mistaken, 16 and 32 gb is your amount of storage space you have available on your phone. Like for apps and games.
And the 2 gig and 2.5 gig is the processor speed of the phone. How fast it is. When you open the internet it is lighting quick.

I just got here it's super and worth it it's one of the best phone I ever use .. I am a big fan of Samsung but this time g3 got it .. Life is good .... Thankx. LG

AnonD-286670, 23 Jul 2014I love the LG G3 but LG does not hold its value like Samsung.Samsung hold value overtime? really? my friend bought A Samsung galaxy S4 mini for 24k INR. now after 3 months it worth 16k for a new one. My Dad bought a Sony Xperia ZR for 30k now you can get a new one for 18k INR. electronics like mobile phones dont hold value most of the time. Nokia is an exception thou. 1520 was introduced at 45k now sells at 38k. Lumia 1020 still sells at 42-43k INR. it's more expensive then 1520

Another overrated phone L3 nothing is mind blowing about L3. What happened to L2. iphone & HTC its a way of life

I heard 300 ppi pxil density is the final of human eye can see. But this devis has 532 ppi pixal density. If human eye cant track the differance between 300 and 500, whats the meaning of upgrading ppi pixal density rate?

G pro 2 is too big, S5 is too disappointing, and i dislike the design of Sony phones. I guess that leaves me with the coming Note 4. Nice christmas gift.

bought g3 32gb 3 gb ram two days back here in india.no lags,no shutdown,no heating problem.feeling different than laggy s5.awasome,exellent.
