G3 users please share your opinion. I had decided to go for G3. now am taken aback after seeing lot of heating issues being reported. I ve even seen users claiming to have returned their handset in XDA forum.

Which is better - G2 32GB or G3 32GB - both ART enabled.???

So if G2's perf is better than G3 due to qHD & 801 combi...may b the 805 version of g3 might roll out shortly. i'll have to go for G2-32GB. As its high time for me to switch my device.

But i hate the UI of G2. I can root it and port a custom ROM like cloudy or optimus. but am bit skeptical about this as this is gonna be my first Android phone.

Should i still go for G3????...Guys, your thoughts.

I purchased it yesterday and the most important feature in a smart phone is missing. You cant set your company exchange email. If LG checks this please advise should i sell this phone or is their team working on this issue of accessing exchange email.

Hi!
LG g3 and new Selfie smartphone Xperia C3 are good rivals!
C3 is the greatest Selfie smartphone with 5 mega pixel frontal camera and it also has frontal soft LED
Of course, we can't divided the difference between QHD and HD on 5.5" display!
C3 give you fantastic social sharing with Sony innovative features!
Have a good choice,

Sure they will issue a patch being the phone is already proving very popular. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 and for some reason, even twitter won't install, and neither will some other popular apps. I cannot believe it's Samsung, they would not be so stupid. Chances are, it's the devs or an Android fragmentation issue, which is inexcusable being Kit Kat onwards is supposed to fix that across most devices.

Anonymous, 10 Jul 2014Have anyone tried out the G3 water test,i do not quite beli... moreits not a water proof. but it can survive in water for a few minutes. i tried it.

i dropped my g3 on the pool it took about 7minutes and everything is fine and no problem.


LG G3 is really an impressive device!

Have anyone tried out the G3 water test,i do not quite believe what have been shown in the video. I certainly will not do that on my G3.

Best LG could clarify the G3 is waterproof.

After buying the G3, didn't turned it on, just plugged the charger, it showed half circle of stars on the screen, just like the refresh icon...then after some minutes it showed "fastboot mode started" couldn't turn it on nor off. Removed the battery, then turned it on and the phone started..made the initial setup steps and its working but i have doubts if the "fastboot mode started" signal and my removal of battery have affected the phone in anyway???
The battery life of G3 seems not the best, not more than 8 hours of surfing music whatever consistent working and this is when the battery and phone still new, after?!!!
The camera and video are good but you need to really hold your hand well to take good pics, unless can fix the flaw pics with the G3 pic option..
Besides, not sure if its just my device or when taking pics or videos occurs some kind of gloom or decrease in brightness, like in my first video capture, the light was very bright at first few seconds then it became dark throughout the video recording..
Not sure how much the 4 times better than full HD is effective, just as how 3D LCD's are effective without the 3D glasses!! It might be that the principle of the human eye can't really see more than certain degree of clearance is true..
Anyone advices using the LG Software update option, or it might change and affect the main features already installed in as default???

I tried and handled the G3 today for the first time
and here are my impressions:

(WARNING: THE FOLLOWING IS MY OPINION.)

I'm a bit disappointed with the screen, despite the
1440x2560 resolution. I just couldn't really tell the
difference between a 1080p screen and this one.
Without a doubt, it's a good screen, but not much
different from 1080p.

The material is plastic (as most of us know now). I'm
not a fan of plastic, but this type of plastic is OK
and passes "my standards".

The design is great, and I like how the body is
nearly the same as the G2, but manages to pack the
5.5 QHD screen into it. Pretty impressive I must say.

For hardware performance, the phone is snappy, reacts
quickly and is smooth altogether.

I didn't get to try the camera, as the unit was
pretty much fixed. But from looking at the G3 review
here, it looks impressive.

So in all, a really good phone. Worth looking at. I
shall be trying it again though.

As before, the above is my opinion, and is just my
preference to the phone.

Stay True, 08 Jul 2014Am afraid that some mere assumption and not a fact. Fact is... moreAre you sure about the battery? Cos according to gsmarena battery test, 6.40hrs of wifi browsing and little above 8hrs of video playback is nothing to be proud of.
