I have same problem..happened on same day????
Changed battery..and fully charged.
Did not resolve the problem!

I am using this phone close to 5 years still going strong. Only problem is this phone don’t support VOLTE of Indian operators...otherwise it is very nice and beautiful looking phone even today

my lg g3 d855 still fine in mm 6.0.1 latest firmware, but backup battery is worst

it keeps shutting down on me and then some small commands come on the screen that i can hardly read.

I am still using my G3 as well 10 03 2019 with no issues other than battery life. I am on my 3rd battery. This this has been a tank.

LG G3 is absolute garbage. A couple of faint yellowish spots on display appeared after a year (unknown issue) and later the dreaded flickering fade-to-black display problem due to the CPU overheating. Applied every fix available (paper over camera connection, installed heat sink under motherboard, etc.) and replaced the display. No problem with spots on the display but the fade-out display issue periodically returned to the point that the phone in unusable.

I used this phone for 2 years and suggested to buy that to all my friends. suddenly without any reason it started to fade and stopped working very soon. LG service center didn't even accept it to check and said it won't be repaired.
I will never buy any LG device.
