Hey,
I just noticed that there's an update to the android 6.0 .
Can someone tell me if it's worth to update? iv'e been heard that the battery run out faster. Any review? Thanks!

The battery life has been low, and now the motherboard has gone bad, no damages to the phone. Now I'm paying $165 for a refurbished phone. WTF? I guess I'm supposed to be happy that I don't have to spend $800 for a new phone, I'd be happy if it hadn't crashed on me.

I have my g3 for 10 months.no problems with my phone. Excellent mobile. Cost effective. Quick and easy to use. Advise: always by your phone from a trusted service provider.u wont have issues with ur phone for the first couple of years. Depending how u look after your phone.#LG4life

Pre Requisites:
This update is only applicable for LG G3 (D855) variant and not to other LG G3 variants.
Battery left in your LG G3 should be more than 60%.
Download and install LG USB Drivers in your computer and also your computer should have Full USB Read/ Write privileges.
Make sure that your device is currently on the latest version of Lollipop OS.
Create a backup of all the data in your G3 (including SMS, Call Log, Images, Audio and Video files).
Once you are through with above mentioned steps, lets proceed to the next step where we detailed out instructions for updating your LG G3.
Procedure to Manually Update LG G3 with Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update:
Download LG Flashtool and Android 6.0 Stock Update package in your computer.
Once downloaded, unzip the flash tool to a folder and then open “LGFlashTool2014.exe” installer file to install the same.
Now, turn off your device so that it can be entered in the Download Mode. Press Volume Up and while pressing this, connect your device to the computer with USB cable. Now, in your desktop you will see the “Firmware Update” dialog on the screen.
Select the .kdz file in the LG Flashtool. Click on “Normal Flash” if you are on default/ stock firmware or else click on “CSE Flash” if your device is on custom ROM.
Post this, you will be shown with “read phone information” and then just click on “Start” to proceed. If at all if you are asked with the admin permissions, just accept the same.
Up next, you will see the “Select Country & Language” window from which you need to select “Different” and then select “English”. Make sure that you DO NOT click on the smartphone upgrade check box and then click on “OK” to start the update process.
Once the process of firmware update reaches 100% mark, you will get “Connection to server failed”. This is normal and is expected and make sure that you do not disconnect the device and wait until you see COM writer in green on your phone.
Once the device is updated with the Android 6.0 update, device will be rebooted automatically. Whole process of firmware update might take around 5 -10 minutes and make sure that all on screen instructions are followed accordingly.
Check the firmware status from Settings > About where the firmware version will show as Android 6.0.

I have had this demonic device LG G3 for 18 months and i am suffering from it like a convict. It heats...it doesn't take pictures...battery life short...it blocks...it goes off by itself...software changes by itself...programs stop working...it becomes suddenly hyper slow...
Because of this stupid machine i lost part of my phonebook...
When i bought it in Beirut the agent called Class made me promises exactly like politicians...
I want to be sure nobody goes thru the same experience

These machines are somewhat clones; I mean both for hardware and software. If people were clones we could say the same. My claim for 20 months can only differ by time of usage. If you are a heavy user, yes it will die. If you are a granny, no it won't.
