LG needs to do something about the fast battery drain issue with the LG G3. Very disappointed in paying for a phone that runs out of battery after 4 hours moderate use. And drains battery on standby to 75%. I like the LG features & the phones but cannot put up with battery drain. Please LG fix this problem with your phones otherwise I'll be going elsewhere.

There are no heating issues. The smartphone gets only a bit hot when you chat on Skype or watch videos. This is normal. Go for it and see it for yourself!

So your cheapest option is to take it to a repair shop, slot in a new battery (they should let you try it out, without you actually buying it) and see how it behaves. Then go from there.
On another note, I really don't know what is up with people having all of these problems, the worst thing I had was battery drain due to gmail going crazy with hotmail accounts - installed bluemail and that went away. No overheating no other stuff...

I have LG G2 for almost 2 years now and it's been working perfectly, I've been thinking about "upgrading" to G3 in a couple of months because I can get a very good offer, but reading these opinions makes me think twice? Is it really that bad?

I own a G3 since October 2014 and I can guarantee you that the lifespan of this device is no more than 20 months. It recently gave me the "blue screen of death" which apparently is a hardware failure due to motherboard. The motherboard cannot withstand the temperatures and gave the last breath after 20 months and according to my researches this is not uncommon. Never going to buy another LG ever again.

I just said about my HTC M8, which actually works perfect. I have not any problems with this phone for now. ((Worst mobile ever use, poor battery, too much hanging problem, after 1 year mic and upper speaker stop working, charging jack and audio jack also got damaged within a year.))

Well, I compared this phone and HTC M8 in real life. I can say just that HTC M8 has got better sound quality, better camera ( front & back ), better software ( for myself ). But LG G3 is a bit better in games, not a lot but we can say that is it a bit better ( version with 3gb ram ). Both phones are from 2014 year and I prefer HTC M8, because it is a lot better in real life when you use it in your hand.
So, who gonna buy HTC M8, he'll not make a wrong choice. Thanks for reading this opinion.
