I updated to Android 6.0 Marshmallow my LG G3 32GB D855 in RO , via LG PC Suite on 2016-04-08. Works smoothly, menu is more intuitive and user friendly.

G3 have laser assisted focus with OIS intergrated while S5 does not have anything except larger pixels (16MP compared to G3 that have only 13MP)
G3 updated to UX4 in Marshmallow update while S5 keep the same touchwiz interface although been updated several times. This is one thing i really hate about Samsung!
The only pros in S5 is waterproof! Otherwise, G3 is better than S5 in all aspect..
If you think i'm a LG fanboy, nope! You're wrong, I use S5 and totally regret for the phone..
larger megapixel with blurry images doesn't make any sense and doesn't mean your camera is better too..

phone is incredible...screen, speed...few tricks like speeding up transition times, limit apps to wifi unless needed...clean caches manually...screen takes most battery...put brightness up only to show off 4k screen, or to game and watch movies royally, ahhh, this is where it shines....battery can last 10-12 hours on moderate usage...battery saver can be set to go past this though...if you keep up proper maintenance as above...get a good case...extra battery...64-128 gb mem card = heaven...still stands up to s6 and s7 except camera options lacking, but adequate for normal user...this too..can be remedied with a good camera app....5 stars...only manufacturer with the balls to go toe-to-toe with samsung...2014 phone of the year...still took last year in my opinion with g4 and v10....if you used android since 2.2...you know how to get the most out of your phone....get familiar...lol

Does anyone have any issues running VPN apps on the G3? I have the D855 version and for the past couple of days I have tried using several VPNs. I've used a lot of the most popular ones as well as some new ones and every single one of them stops running after a minute or so.... Has anyone had this issue and found a solution?

Well i have a lg g3 and it sucks i have missed so many texts and calls due to my phones ringer turninf off all by its self the volume bars are all the way up but no sound also my alarme does the same thing i have 5 of these phones for family members and as soon as we can we are upgrading and going back to samsung we NEVER had problems with them.

i have purchased lg g3 t-mobile and last 6 days i have a signal dropping issue after 15 minutes every time anybody tells me answer of this problem

You're in a league of your own dude. I have 2 friends who regret buying s5 over G3. It's a well known fact that G3 was a head turner. Only lollipop update screwed it up. Otherwise it was a killer phone.

siminum, 06 Apr 2016I've messed up about the cores....you did the same saying S... moreI still say s5 is better than g3,a lot better screen a stronger camera,a better battery and no heating as much as g3,and about hangs ,my friend has one from 2 years ago and it hangs as any other smartphone do,since every smartphone hangs,for me display is number one priority then camera and then battery which in all s5 is one step ahead, g3 has more ram but it's not as fast as 2gb ram of s5,no matter how much you like g3 it doesn't change the fact that s5 is better,and it's different than your missed up about snapdragon chipsets,so we're not even bro
