I bought my LG G3 D855 16gb last year.I really love the the specs of it..It is good in games..But last month i've noticed my phone became laggy (lag or slow) and sometimes restarting its own.Maybe because i upgrade it to lollipop and its nothing I can do about it.And this month I can't use it anymore. :( What will i do? can anyone help me????? I already used the hard reset, factory reset,put it on safe mode and reboot it but it cant help. it always restart.

S . SUDHAKAR, 04 Apr 2016How is the battery backup of G5 compared to G3?. Is it less?.you cannot compare a simple quad core (snapdragon 801) with a octa core (snapdragon 820) - very different specs, speed, power consumption => each model affects the battery very different

Battery life on 3GB RAM version and Android 6.0 Marshmallow is great. Day and a half with moderate use. Greatly improved over Android Lollipop. The auto brightness screen managment is much better in Marshmallw, as is the speed and overall standby.

Battery & power saving
Set to ON Game optimizer (if you are a gamer)
Press Battery Saver (do not turn ON) - there check "Restrict apps in background"
I had this problem myself but this "tweek" fixed it. Hope it help you too or anyone else who is having the same issue after upgrading to 6.0 :)

It I great phone for a reasonable price I bought mine in 2015 November it still runs great, I have no battery issues, just don't use the brightness on 100% it lasts me about 1.5-2.5 days on stand by with minimal use

For everyone complaining about poor battery life, keep brightness at 40 - 50 %, close background apps when not in use & turn off sync. If it still eating battery then you have a crappy version of lollipop. I have V5.0 & i get about 4hrs screen on time which is above average. I think its the V5.02 that eats the battery due to a bug.

AnonD-461742, 31 Mar 2016Which selfie camera is better ..? Lg g3 or samsung a5A5 front camera is better. A5 has 5 Megapixels camera and G3 has 2.1 megapixels camera. There are some other functions also in G3 that are good like the IR sensor and USB host which the A5 dont have.

Updated my LG G3 to 6.0 last Sunday. It worked fine and had a great battery lifetime. But, yesterday it started to drain battery. In battery use it says that my screen uses the most of energy, over 40%. So I have turned off automatic brightness and set brightness to 20%, but it still drains battery. Any suggestions? Oh... And, did not install any new app since update. Just updated Youtube yesterday morning, but did not even used it... Thanks in advance!

The Best thing about LG G3 (apart from excellent Display to Body ratio & its good camera) is the Placementv of Volume and Power buttons at the back.

AnonD-237389, 23 Mar 2016S5 has better battery, better screen in terms of colors and... moreI think just better on the spec sheet but on the whole experience, I don't think G3 is far behind or in some case actually a lot better than S5. Here's the 5 reasons for someone deciding between 2 of them:
1)G3 has curved back body with what I consider anti fingerprint material compared to S5 with flat and generic patterned look. Since I mostly use my phone without case, the curved back feels more comfortable to hold and tapered side easier to grip. (can say I'm really into curved back since all my smartphones in recent past has this feature; Moto X, Lumia 920, Zenfone 2)
2)G3 volume button placement on the back feels more comfortable for someone that usually making phone calls. Power button placement is no issue here as you can always double tap the display to turn on or off the screen (though I'm not sure if this feature work if you use 3rd party home launcher)
3)Contrary to popular believe, what I gain for quad hd screen worth the slightly more battery usage. The difference in battery consumption and performance hit is not night and day unless you're more into gaming. (I have my PSP for gaming on the go purpose since I'm not comfortable wasting my phone battery)
4)Do you hate seeing Samsung logo everywhere? That's me :) Besides, the very slim bezel on G3 make it looks more gorgeous than S5 (can say I even like G3 design better than S6 and S7)
5)I don't like to use hardware button and Samsung make it worse by inverting the back and recent button placement. With G3 I can even customize the home button combination, where I add notification panel to quickly access it without swiping from top and Qmemo for taking screenshot, edit it if need to and share it immediately.
