Hi can anyone tell me if LG G4 H818N model 508 manufactured in August and bought in November will be affected by bootloop. I want to buy this device from my friend. He said he updated it to marshmallow in February last week. Current software version is V20 ind xx.

A WARNING TO ALL LG USERS
i have had two different lg phones and both of them have crashed on me. Lg tends to be very uncooperative about the situation and they will wipe all of your information without even trying to save it. There are very unhelpful in your time of need, and although the phone was okay when it worked it went downhill after only 8 months and my phone before that after only 1 year. DO NOT BUY LG. You will only be disappointed.

I've had this phone for 5 months now and I am still happy with my choice.
The screen is superb!
The battery is grand, I leave it over night to charge, get up around 10am and I usually still have around 20% left when I go to bed again.
The Leather back is great to hold in the hands.
I can't complain about the camera at all! Just wish the video mode had manual controls like the photo mode. The Pictures this thing takes is comparable to the Nokia 1020 quality.
Power of the phone is good.
Charging time is fantastic 30 minutes = 40% - 50%.

Even though the LG G5 is out now, I would still recommend this phone.

Previous phones i've are:
Lumia 1020
Lumia 930
Sony Xperia Z3

I would still recommend this phone over the phones i've had.

I am using lg g4 and it have a bootloop issue, me and thousands of other people are suffering for this problem my phone is not booting up and Lg haven't done anything for us. Don't believe LG their flagship always have some issue
even My LG G2 had yellow tint screen and touch screen issue I gave LG a 2nd chance, they failed miserably.
Don't trust them and their cheap Hardware

I can do almost 1 day and a half with a normal usage. With a good usage you can do a full day without problem. Also you can always by a new battery later!

Can anyone tell me how this phone works in terms of battery, i'm considering to buy this phone, but one of the things i'm looking for is BATTERY, i know that i cannot ask for 2 days with a single charge, but a descent day will be more than fine, i know that you can replace the battery and that the fast charge feature will help me too, as well as carring a power bank with me. But i need to know if any of you guys had/have problems with battery or heating with this device ('cause i have all this troubles with my current Moto X 1st Gen and i don't want that thing anymore with a newer phone). Thanks

I have a Sony Xperia z1 now. I had it for 3 years. I'm really okay with with. The camera's descent and quite clear in some angles. When I was watching a TV show, I saw this cool looking phone. And since I'm very curious to know what phone it is I looked it up. And then I saw LGG4. And i was like watching so many videos and reading articles about it. And I though this phone is really cool and unique. My birthday's coming up so I'm planning to buy it. But when you bring money into this. I already have a nice and descent phone should I buy it or not?

You can see for yourself that z3+ is really close to G4 in terms of actual size , and it is 5.2". If you have the chance to grab one of those phones for yourself to see how well fit in your hands, then it will be awesome and you will make the best choice :)
G4 has great feel, and doesn't slip from your hand , as it's plastic combined with leather , makes you think it's more premium than it actually is and feels nice in the hand.

Then why is it so overrated guys? Its so cheap and people always tend to choose Samsung,huawei,Sony or htc over it.. Is it the advertising? Or is it really not as good as the other phones? Or is there alot of problems or glitches with the device? I wanna know why is it so good in the internet but nobody buys it? None of my friends actually got it they go for the note 4 or the s6 or htc one m8,m9 and maybe huawei ascend mate 7,honor 7.. I wanna know if its really underrated or its just not as good as its competitors. Thanks :)

Rather than referring the whole physical size, people go by screen size which makes the compactness (or the body to screen ratio) go for a toss.

LG G4 isnt too compact, like G2 or G3 but it offers better compact package than other 2 mentioned in the post.

So best way is, go to the shop and see how it feels in your hand.

Damn I like this phone but 5.5" is just too big. Now Im confused which phone I should buy now in april 2016. Im like between G4, Z3+ or galaxy S5. Only this phones in option. Can someone pls help me about choice which phone I should buy?
G4 - stopped me for 5.5 inch display
Z3+ - stopped me due to the overheating issue
S5 - boring ui and design
Here z3+ is my favorite but that overheating issue is problem but I'm not heavy user.
Anyway I will find your opinions helpfull and usefull so thanks anyone who answer on my problem. Cheers

Even I face it sometimes, may be 30% of the time, but I dont mind tapping it again. Not a big issue for me.
