My mistake (to my g4), I left charger over night and so after 100per cent full charger still attached for 6hours and so I don't know if the damage has done because my g4 knock knock code malfunction in it. When my phone hibernated or on locked I cannot wake it up the screen by tapping it. Even I press the power button so to no avail. I have to remove the battery for me to restart my g4. Does it troubled with the overcharging of my phone? Anyone can help me pls? Right now what I did was to kept my screen open but putting brightness zero just not to go to sleep because I cannot wake it up again. Thanks for the help

Guys how is the g4 compared to the galaxy note 4? Cause in my country they're pretty much the same price .. I don't want to know about the specifications on paper or whatever I want to know from someone who has tried both and have experience
P.S I'm already using a power bank so I don't really care for battery life. Thanks :)

My G4 already upgrade to Marshmallow. The battery so far is ok. I text, check email and watch movie more then one hour. One day use is ok. The camera is great as my DSLR camera. So the camera setting look like DSLR camera setting. It is super.

I've had mine for about 6 weeks now. Only battery issues I've had are related to an app I downloaded.

I also have an H812 Canadian variant, and I have had zero issues with it, and the phone is even better with the Marshmallow update. I am not sure why Carlos is having issues (a few comments above), but my battery lasts way longer now than before. Although, I am not sure what he does with his. I use it as a phone, text, surf, and do some gaming, but not spending the day doing it all. My son just got rid of his Samsung S6 for this phone, and he feels that this phone is better. Its just up to everyones personal preference. One thing I hate reading in these forums are one word answers like Nope, or someone bashing the phone because they "really wanted" a iPhone, or s7, or some other one but decided to give it a try and it doesn't have certain features they are used to, or UI they find different.
My brother had the latest iPhone for a few weeks, it crashed, took it in and they couldn't even recover any info from it, so are all iphones garbage, or just his? So, if you read these forums, do not let what you read influence your purchase, ask at the dealer/service provider which phone seems to be more reliable, or had more complaints.

AnonD-519835, 31 Mar 2016Thanks for the reply broSo far that's great plus I'm planni... moreIt's an issue that occurs (as far as I can tell) , to some devices that are upgraded from 5.1 to 6.0 through bridge mostly, but I cannot tell if some of them got an OTA Update. As far as I am concerned, this bootloop's cause is software. The first one , which was hardware related, was fixed through the new versions of the phone. But some issue occurs and I strongly believe it has to do with the update and LG's rom and drivers.
It occurs while trying to connect to many wifi's with low signal , and then try to switch to 4G Or 3G network. That happened to about 10 people here in Greece (a really small amount ) , and all of them had the same issue. I , nearly every day, switch wifi's and 4G , and nothing happened to me, so I believe is out of luck , and how the update "sits" on the phone. If we suppose that many million devices are sold (over 20mil. ) and 10K devices seemed to have this problem , the percentage is fairly small.
LG doesn't seem to work for a solution (yet), and me and some friends are trying to figure out what's going on with some devices.
Other that this peculiar thing, this phone is excellent all the way!

Does... moreYou will only experience the hardware related bootloop if the device's first three starting serial number is the one from 505-509 (5 is the year of production and 05-09 are the months). Software bootloop if it is from 600-603, that is unconfirmed but hardware bootloop has been confirmed by LG, if you receive one of those then send it back.
P.S Ordered the device few days ago and about to receive it tomorrow. All the best

can somebody write a review based on his experience for like months or a year of usage? cause some people say that the first 2weeks-month are usually okay then the phone turns to be a piece of crap i would like to know if its true, thanks.

I am lucky to have the model g4 h818 dual sim because ultimately after 6.0 update no problem no issues at all fully functional the whole system including the installation of new apps from playstore everything was doing fine. So greatful to have this model incomparable to other g4 models that seem they have plenty of problems after the upgrade. Whooo thanks to you Lord.
