My LG G4 is now dead after 1 yr 10 mnths... the phone stuck in boot with Logo and service team confirmed that motherboard is dead due to overheat. I was surprised to hear company like LG who is dominant over electronic medium, is losing stability on harware chips where i do see non-elcectronic companies who own many smartphones never come with this issue. They offered me 10k for motherboard replacement as you are LG customer whose actual price was 20.5k. Rather buy a smartphone worth 10K...The most pathetic service and support....
I decided never buy an LG phone in my life...

ahmad, 13 May 2017I want buy this phone but somebody say it has bootloop.If it is used and has already a bootloop problem, don't buy it. It will cost you around $200 to fix it. Instead, buy a new one and pray to get a blootloop just before the warranty's expiration date, to get a free motherboard replacement. My lg G4 got a bootloop shortly after its warranty expired. Now it is sitting on the shelf and collecting dust .

My LG G4 died. After 2 years..
don't buy it even if it has one of the best cameras.
You are not sure how long does it last to you.

luis, 10 May 2017It is impossible to get root acces. After a year stop worki... moredisable 2 core and your lg g4 work cool use lg up store tool for disable 2 core.my lg g4 work fine after bootloop by this method .

yesterday my lg g4 face bootloop after 2 year but i got solution connect my phone with s7 edge quick charger 2.0 mobile goes hot after remove battery and put battery again and s/on mobile and now work fine .and after i am not use quick charger 2.0 put normal lg g4 charger.happy

LG sent a replacement and that lasted 7 months. LG replaced the replacement and it frequently drops the signal. Can't wait to get back to the galaxy. Stay away from LG.

Use hair dryer! It may make your phone to work... moreThis method didn't really work for me as I could only get my bootlooped G4 to turn on for maybe 1 or 2 minutes using the hair dryer method.
However, putting it in a -18C freezer for 90 minutes got me well over 10 minutes of use which was more than enough time to get all my data off.

I guess that the bootloop problem was with the initial batch of phones. You can search for the serial numbers and avoid the older ones ;)

Wolf, 29 Apr 2017??? Bootloop?? loooool.. I think maybe these guys are tro... moreI had LG G3, LG G Flex and now Lg G4. In the middle from first two I wanted to see how it all works for me with iphone so I have buy no.7. Hm! The biggest mistake ever. What LG is giving out on market ladt few years leave me speechless! And yes, phone have 10/10!!!
And I have friend who is expert for almost any kind of technology. He is amazed with no.4!
