I have LG G4,i use only one year ,last month start surfer in screen split am trying to contact LG center in my country,They replayed to me G4 has no such problem. some time it display corrent full screen,3 week ago starting bootloop and now it dead. not charging not power one... i lost my money in buying LG g4

If you've been using the phone since mid 2015 I think it will be ok because otherwise it'd probably have bootlooped already if it was going to.

I got my Lg G4 in Korea. I fell in love with all its specs. Unfortunately I wasn't aware of all its bootloop thing. I had it only for 11months, and the photos and other stuffs were gone, cannot be retrieved anymore. Well I guess that would be my last lg. I am still hoping that it would be fixed when It gets back to Korea. Anywho Thinking about buying xiaomi, its kinda popular now.

I've had my G4 for over a year and had no issues until recently traveling I put it in airplane mode. When I got to the hotel it wouldn't boot up. After chatting with LG support found out it was under warranty. They replaced the motherboard but I bought a IPhone 6s Plus since I needed a phone. I won't buy another LG phone.

Jacky, 24 Jan 2017Just wanted to tell you about my experience with the LG G4 ... moreI have never put. bad comments online but wanted people to know do not buy lg G4 phones all the complaints on here are true I bought two for 600.00 each worked ok for about a year both of them screen went out problems start when you update after long discussion with LG C.S they send you another one if you haven't had it over a year still owing $300 and not knowing if same is going to happen with it ...I personally can say my first and last LG. Back to Motorola ☺just wish I had read all these comments before buying would have saved lot of money and misery.

Trust me i had the g2 at first ajd it suddenly stopped working as the motherboard failed..i decided then to buy g4 and also it stopped becoz of bootloop..lg is making very bad hardware... Go for htc or samsung instead i think

I'm using an LG G4 currently and no doubt it's the best phone I've owned, till today it's working without a single lag and issue but I'm afraid it'll get the boot loop problem soon.. Idk if I should get a Galaxy S7, Xperia Z5, Huawei P9, LG G5 or galaxy S6 edge plus now

Florinso, 19 Jan 2017Ok i have my g4 for 1 year. Still is working like first day... moreI just got hit by the boot loop issue this morning, after a about 13 months, lost a great many pictures because of it. I had the 812 model if that makes any difference.
KInda pissed with LG at the moment, probably going to go with the s7 next.
P.S. I hail out of BC. unfortunately we are not graced to have avoided this problem.

LG G04, 25 Jan 2017I have had my lg g4 model H812 for 13 month now and ye the ... moreI m not happy to hear that. My lg g4 turned one year recently. Still not an issue, i have same 812 model in Canada with fido. I had both samsung mini and s4 both were returned in warranty and had pda board replaced. That's why i stopped buying samsung, but my tablet tab a 9.7 with Spen rocks.

I have had my lg g4 model H812 for 13 month now and ye the boot loop got me. but because it happened with in the 1year warranty it was a free fix. BUT from then on the wireless charging does not work and the phone still heats up over +50c and the battery life still sucks. but because I'm in Canada I don't mind the hot phone it keeps my hands warm. other than the no wireless charging now gone and the heat and the low life battery the phone is great.

Just wanted to tell you about my experience with the LG G4 (Europe Version).
It's a great phone while it lasts. From day one up to a year and a half from purchasing it i really enjoyed the phone. Camera is very good and the screen is amazing. Battery is not that good but i managed to go by half a day on one charge (I'm not a a power user. I use it for mails, phone calls, Whatsapp, Facebook and SMS).
After 16 months the phone just died.Bootloop issue.
If you can afford yourself to change phones every year then go for it.
I'll never get another LG. I'll buy Samsung\Apple\Sony. I still have older phones and they still work.

man you know your electrics. Is this the fix that LG facilitates as mine was sent back around 4 months ago and is still working fine apart from the audio jack that i'm replacing
