harry, 15 Aug 2016i have restarting problem....anyone can fix itThis is a known hardware fault. Visit your local retailer and see about getting it replaced. I just encountered this bootloop issue about a week ago, where it won't start up and just reboots over and over again.

I came across this site and I thought I'd post my experience. I think the LG G4 is a great phone. I have the LS991 for Sprint, and I use it for Freedompop. After the latest Sprint update (ZVC), the phone has much better battery life, and I went back to using the stock battery and back instead of an extended battery.
Also, I wanted to let others know that I got the boot loop issue in July after buying the phone off ebay in January. I thought I'd give LG a shot at repairing it out of warranty, or at least I could turn down an expensive repair. I sent it in (proof of purchase was "bought on ebay") and within a couple of days, they were sending it back to me with a new motherboard! It didn't cost me a cent, not even the initial shipping because they sent a label. So, try them first, before giving it up. It works great now!

There is no certain model affected by it . Just to be safe before u buy it , remove the plastic back and battery and the the s/n aka serial number . Try to avoid those starting with 505 in serial number because those were most affected by it. Some said this can go up to 512 but most faulty devices were with 505 s/n . For instance I have h815 international version but with 508 s/n and I had no problems on it. I would avoid s5 and note 4 if I were u because of that plastic edge that is going to get nasty in time and your phone will look rubbish when u will try to sell it and u will hardly get any buyers for a bad looking phone.

I have this lg g4 phone ...now the display have a problem known as image retention ...i searched net and understood lot of g4 owners have the same problem..lg not reacting about this..so think before buy the g4..

All the models have a lot of devices with this problems the bootloader in many models have no support for unlocking the camera its fantastic but thats it... Its your choice

Dont buy this phone if You like playa games lagg is terrible the phone is bad the only think good is the camera but the model have a lot of devices with a hardware trouble and the phone die the solution is change de mother board. I hope my opinion help someone else

Hi people! I'm planing to buy a new phone (coming from S4) and im undecided between Galaxy S5, Note 4 and LG G4. I have read and heard a lot of good words about performance of LG G4 (exspecially of its camera) but in the recent coments i have heard about the "bootloop" problem. Can u say to me which models are afected with this problems? Or this is an issue fo all models and i have to put out LG G4 from my list?
