For the people with the boot loop problem on the G4. It's a motherboard issue, factory reset will not help. If you want to back up your stuff do this, (I know its crazy but it works). Take the battery out and grab a hair dryer, use the hair dryer on the phone to heat it up, once it gets hot enough (says 5-7 mins) put the battery in and boot the phone, you'll be able to keep it on long enough to grab anything you need. If you need to backup the whole thing, keep the hair dryer running while you use LG Bridge...

I owned LG G3 and never had issues with the phone. I buy ATT versions and not unlocked versions which may have better quality. I recently purchased an LG G4 from BestBuy at a very reasonable cost $358 dollars. That's almost half of G5 and V10. Are the issues reported on this forum only on those that were purchased unbranded/unlocked? My LG G4 works flawlessly.

I suddenly lost my g4 bcoz of the bootloop case I think g4 is the test for the v10 and g5. Defenitely regrets with g4 . Damn it !

Phone got a stuck in a boot loop one day. Only advice from store was factory reset which as i'm sure you're aware deletes everything you've saved. But hey the camera is nice.

I have still seen many people complaining about LG G4, about several issues as boot loop, getting hot, battery drain. I have mine for 6 month no issues at all, and also got some heat when I use for watching videos, but this should be normal as the screen is on for long period of time.
This is the only cell phone that on my daily based usage I got 50% of battery in afternoon around 5-6 pm. Of course if you are trying to use like a tablet or pc the battery won't last long.

Lovely so many people claim bootloop but don't share the first three digits of their serial number so we can see which batch they're from.

It suddenly went bonkers last week. Boot-loop issue kicked in. It is out of warranty now and I am left holding a dead weight!
My advise is to wait for some more time and see if all the issues users are experiencing with G4 and G5 models are fixed, when the V20 arrives. Otherwise, you are better off buying either an iPhone or a Samsung for the premium price you are going to shell out anyway!!

As my nexus 5 has broken after nearly two years, this phone ia my next option. Can I expect similar if not better reliability with this phone? With my nexus I had to replace the battery once.

Bootloop issues are the most common thing for LG G4....Why does LG react about this? Aren't they going to issue a recall order or the likes? Maybe they are just copying Mitsubishi Montero's deadma... My next celfone will be an iPhone or a Samsung nah...regrets..

I read lots of comments about LG G4 : bootlop problem ect. . . i use G4 too but i do not face that problem . The only problem is : my phone is hot while i make photos outside , maybe because of the brightness increasing automatically when i use phone under sunlight.
The phone battery is enough per day for normal use. The sound , signal strengh, browser speed is good. What i like the best is : Camera ! (Front and Back camera),
It is very good for capturing photo in bright and low light place. I used few camera phones already such as Nokia N8, Nokia Pure View 808, i Phone 5s & Galaxy Note4 . .i can say that the picture of Lg G4 camera is the best. There are more best Camera Phone like Galaxy S7 Lg V10, Lg G5 ect . .but they are more expensive.
Anyway thank to LG.
