Why do I have a bad feeling that the LG G4 Pro is going to be just like the G4 but with ONE of two differences. A bigger screen (SLIGHTLY, I might add) or a Stylus.

**sigh**

If I'm right....I'm just going to get a tablet as my upgrade instead. (though, I'd definitely prefer the G4 Pro rumors to be true)

This will be the Note5 killer if it has a Stylus. Hopefully these features too.
      Fingerprint reader on back.
      Dual front facing speakers
      USB-C & wireless charging built-in
      Removable battery
      SDcard slot
Compatible with Project Fi and all US carriers with one device!
Come on LG, give us what we want and you get our money!

Hopefully this time around LG won't miss their chance to equip their flagship with audio recording technology similar to Nokia's Rich Recording technology. Stereo HAAC microphones would have been a very welcomed and long-awaited addition to a high-end device like the G4 Pro, and it's a golden opportunity to gain a small upper hand on several devices in the same specification and price range.

Now, while the ability to produce good quality video recordings of say a rock concert, an auto show or a windy mountain hike is something many smartphones preceding this launch have sported for years, the audio recording capabilities have continued to disappoint us consumers time and time again. Even today, 'top of the line', 'premium' devices from massive manufacturers like Samsung, Apple, LG, Huawei and the like are unable to produce results better than the bare minimum of what should be considered acceptable as far as audio distortion/crackling in the abovementioned scenarios goes.

Fingers crossed LG will step up their microphone game with this forthcoming release.

            I have my doubts.

Anonymous, 18 Aug 2015This will be a killer if the battery is removable, awesome. That's my point, too...

BTW, I don't care about removal battery vs non as long as it can last full day under heavy use.

Also, I don't care about wireless charging...I always have charger at home and at work and in the car....Why would I need wireless charging...don't have time to play with gadgets need real world practical stuff not fancy gadget.

SD card can be useful but won't bother if it doesn't have one.

Excellent specs...I've been a fan of Samsung since Galaxy 1 ... switched to the Note line until 4...Tried LG G4 as my second phone parallel to Note 4 few months back and I LOVE IT... better & smoother experience than Note 4.... Can't wait to replace my Note 4 with LG G4 Pro...

                      So..I'll get:
                      1- SD 820
                      2- 4GB RAM
3- Big pixel camera (hope to improve processing to match the quality of iPhone 6 Galaxy S6)
4- Good Android skin (LG UX) compared to the outdated TouchWiz....

What else can I ask for? Oh yeah...
1- Need really really big battery that can last til the end of the day....like 4000mAh
2- Need less UX clutter and more pure experience & fine grain control

                      Cheers

I agree with most of the opinions found here. I have been a loyal Sammy customer for a long time, but I was appalled and outraged when they changed their design paradigm to leave out user-replaceable batteries and microSD card slots. Talk about BRAIN DEAD STUPID !!!! Add on top of that Samsung's habit of overloading their platforms with brain dead bloatware, which takes me hours to remove or disable, and you have a recipe for "shoot myself in the face" loss of customer loyalty.

My only decision now is whether I will wait for the LG G4 Pro or buy a G4 standard now. That decision will be based on the release date and availability schedule for the Pro, and what the actual processor in the Pro will be. I will be permanently abandoning Samsung as my cell phone supplier for anything, at least until such a time as LG decides to get as stupid as Samsung has become. I suspect that in the future, we will look at Samsung's recent business decisions as mistakes of epic proportions, and MBA-types will discuss them as in-class use-case narratives of what NOT to do. Which is to kill the goose that laid the golden eggs. Oh well.

I'm exited for the LG G4 Pro! With a removeable battery, a micro SD card, and a 27 mp camera, it will blow the compitition away and, make my friends jelous! In adition to the finger print scanner, i'd be able to open it without my friends knowing my knock code or password (Hopefully Knock code could be the main way to unlock the phone and, the figer print scanner could be a accessory!I

Overall, like to keep phones until they break and, the LG G4 Pro will be one that can last for ages to come!

I currently have a old iPhone 4S that, I have been waiting for the right phone to succeed

A removable battery is a kind of protection for consumers and to prevent time wasting trips to service centers.

Looking forward to this phone. Burned out on Samsung. I have been using them since the GS2 and bar and flip phones before a smart phone. Samsung is good, but annoying at the same time. The Note 4 camera is bad. You have to tap very hard on the screen to get it to focus. This happened with the 5.0 android update. Unable to use voice over LTE due to a " software glitch" Call quality is not that great for the price. The new note 5 will have NO micro SD,and a sealed in battery. Big mistake. I am going to give this new LG a try.

People will still buy the Note 5 because of it's phone specific software/features and advanced stylus, it's specs are perfectly fine and Samsung phones generally look better than LG's. Samsung will still sell more phablets than LG just on name brand alone lol
