Have had my G3 since first released. Battery has died so decided to upgrade. Will bypass G4 and go to G5. What I love is the call and message announcements. Does the G5 have this? Saves me having to stop and check who is ringing and can hear a message and keep working. Waiting for voice recognition reply but won't be happy if announcements not included in G5. Can anyone tell me please?

Yes, you can choose among 2G/3G/4G Auto, 2G/3G Auto, 3G Only or 2G Only

I have the phone and I love it. It is much nicer when you hold it than the pictures show and the Lg launcher has just been updated and now I have the app drawer. I really love it.

Just got in.
I'm very impressed with the design. A new revolutionary design and features. Or not.
- game changer design. Should receive a merit for the design. LG pushed over it and perhaps, a success is around the corner.
- All-metal design, but something like brushed-aluminium unibody feel to it.
- Fingerprint scanner is fantastic and fast.
Of course, it's a premium smartphone, I don't have to complain or anything. It looks good, feels premium, stylish. I will try out the camera, software, and the so called "Modules"

Elsewhere I'm now getting reports the SD card slot DOES interfere with the second SIM. At this point I've heard enough to believe the latter.
Doesn't the idea of cutting off your right arm to become ambidextrous sound wonderful?! Yuck, this greatly degrades the value to me and I'm now researching other possible devices. :-(

What about the camera? the back and front. Is it nice? I got LG G3 but the camera is not too good in low light as it advertised.

This is a major difference from what they have and if using a SD card interferes with the use of a second SIM, that makes a major difference to me for one! (this was a major point in LG's favor over the S7)

Lg G5 or HTC 10 or Nexus 6P is better? Based on spec HTC wins but for the camera, the G5 win however Nexus 6P is what most people recommend.

I bought the device 2 days ago>>Really so nice>Screen is nice>Dual sim works very smooth and both 4G> Battery last 1 day heavy use and i didnt use the extra battery> The major drawback that it did not have dedicated slot for memory card as mentioned in the specifications
