Hey guys, I am not here to say which manufacturer is better. I just want to say i am waiting for the phone that has a good battery and least bezels. i have the LG g4, as some have said some g4 units go dead suddenly as the motherboard dies, it happened with my cousin and he lost basically 600$ down the toilet. However, G5 has gone backwards in some points.1-the bezels are back and big unlike the g3 and g4. 2-battery has gone backwards again, on my G4 it is not great and now making it less in the g5 is a hands down for me. other than that modularity and better build quality are a good step

I got a s7 edge and a g5 they both have there good points overall g5 is the best!!! removable battery a big plus But i still love the s7 edge i can only be happy with both.

GSMA announces LG G5 for best dev... moreEverything you said was great, until you showed you know nothing of cameras and photography. 4:3 is what all photos are printed in. And MP count is pointless. In a sensor this small I'd rather have 12MP which means I have bigger pixels allowing more light to be captured, than more smaller ones.

I've had the G5 for a few days now after using a G4 for 6 months. I am very impressed by several aspects of this device. Mainly, I look for real world performance. Can it last through my workday? Is the speaker loud enough to leave my speakers at home when I work in my shop? Do voice commands run when I need them to? Is the camera fast and excellent in photo quality? Do I feel secure if I lose it? The answer so far is a resounding and unexpected yes. I really don't care if the body is metal or plastic or metal coated plastic..it feels awesome in the hand. The lines on this things would make an iPhone engineer question his positions. It feels good in the hand....period. All the other aspects of this device don't target Galaxy S users. They directly target iPhone users and the Andriod users like me that were thinking of jumping ship. I wished LG and Google would give me and Android powered iPhone esq experience....and it is not only here...it more affordable than Samsung and iPhone. I got the Gold G5 and it's good. Going to get a lifeproof case for it....because I feel comfortable investing in the platform this phone gives me.

LG is producing great phone but focusing only on production. No focus in server centers and service quality.
I upgraded to G4 (818N) from G2 the day it was brought in India and I was pretty happy about almost everything. But as soon as I upgraded to Marshmallow, my phone ran into battery issues, started charging too slow and started getting hot. I dont play mobile games but battery life became half.
Ran to service centers who took 7 days just to downgrade it to 5.1 back again. They claimed they replaced the motherboard but when I checked IMEI numbers, they were caught off gaurd. They still dont have any answer on why they kept my phone for 7 days. Battery and Hot issues resolved but still struggling with slow charge issue.
Horrible experience at LG service centers. My loyalty is going to change soon. Never going to buy LG phones again.

Got my G5 od fri from best buy and absolutely love it so far, actually typing thia on it. The UX still does not have the app drawer but to be honest dont really need it because you can hide unwanted apps in the menu so home acreen is really clean, only have apps i use reguraly. The battery seemms good so far lasting me whole day so far(over 12hrs) with mod use and still had juice left. The 3.0 charging is amazing bout 50min from 15%. Battery seems better then my previous m8. Fingerprint sensor is super fast and love the locarion of it. Also the always screen is very showing notifications and is not that dim as some people say. Overall great device so far, probably my favorite i ever had....go LG

Love the LG G5! I am currently using the G2 and still its great phone. No lags, battery life is great and its nice looking phone. I will stick with the LG in future.

Shah, 03 Apr 2016Please i request you to never buy either lg g4, v10, or any... moreMy daily driver is a lg g4 at the moment and it's the best phone I have ever had but I am torn between the V10 or the G5 and the G5 could turn out to be ok and maybe it could be that people have ended up with a bad batch and the rest will be ok.
My G4 is a excellent smartphone.
