design wise - it's a flop, hardware wise - should be similar to other S820 devices, the double camera is also welcome, but i don't find +25deg necessary for a smartphone camera, just make it better in low light conditions and make the algorithm (or sensor) to have less noise in the picture. Will be buying the G3 (3gb) or some other device in june or july.

I've been waiting for this phone for a while now. It seems to have everything that I want out of it:

                  - IPS LCD display (not AMOLED thank god)
                  - Snapdragon 820 + 4gb RAM
                  - removable battery
                  - micro SD support
                  - minimum 32gb internal storage
                  - improved auto focus + wide angle camera

I'm finally ready to put down cold hard cash for this thing. I would have gone for the S7, but Samsung has been insisting on using AMOLED screens and I just can't stand to buy something which has a screen that will burn in or wear out in a few years due to the nature of the technology.

                        i'm a G4 user.
a little disappointed with this G5, first is the display size drop to 5.3 inch, and then battery capacity only 2800 mAh.

I remember first modular phone which was also by LG. "LG chocolate KG90", not exactly modular but with huge interchangeable battery.

Too small battery. Should be 3500 for a flagship.
