LG G5 or iPhone SE? For my brother. My brother likes smaller phone like iPhone SE, it's pocketable. But the dual camera on G5 sounds promising. But some complaint on G5 which has unimpressive battery life and decent screen brightness. Please help, which one is good?

hello i just want to ask about my lg g5 bought few days ago..why cannot update to nougat still running on marshmallow? everytime i check upadate it says already install lates OS..i have the canada version h831.i bought this as 2nd hand. pls help about my problem thanks for your answer

had phone since release and still works fine apart from some screen retention though easy fixed.

As for the battery, having a 2800mA/h battery it is not THE BEST on battery life, it will go well through the day maybe for the first year or a bit less. It has QuickCharge 3.0, so it will charge really fast, that's a half-way solution. I would recommend you to also buy a backup battery, here's the link on amazon.com: https://amzn.to/2KV9ZU4
It will let you charge the extra battery on an external charging device.
It performs really well on games, powerful processor, I haven't had any freezing issues so far. Apps open fast, multi-tasks like a charm. Speed won't be a problem at all.
The display has a great resolution with 554 ppi, the only thing is that I've found out that if you have a still image on relatively high brightness, the image will kinda "burn" into the display for some minutes, then it will disappear. It has some special feature that enhances the brightness when under the sun (will only work if you have the automatic brightness setting on).
The camera is GREAT. I LOVE it. It has a 16 MP main sensor, pictures are CRISP and VIVID. It also has a GREAT HDR function, works like a charm, so don't hesitate on taking pictures against the sun. It also has a second main camera, it is an 8 MP, wide-angle sensor. Really convenient when you want to take a picture of a big object that's close to you, it also great for making photos of buildings and so, love it too. The front-facing camera is another 8 MP sensor, I personally like it, it's maybe not the best, but it is for me.

I bought my phone less than a year ago. It is already defective. My phone turns off by itself with a fresh battery, apps don't work correctly, speakers distort and some calls and texts never appear on my phone. I spoke with customer service and even upper management isn't willing to send me a replacement refurbished phone to keep me happy as a customer. I spoke with a friend who has had the same issue with the G5. I know this is a manufacturer defect. I'm extremely disappointed with the customer service. This is my second LG phone and was happy with the product until this issue. I'll never buy anything LG again. The replacement phones are refurbished anyways and I don't see why it's such a big issue to try and keep a loyal customer happy and just refurbish my phone to give to another customer.

is there some one having issues with Wi-Fi.... my internet isn't faster on planet earth but 20mb should be good for 1080p streaming .. this device behaves wear when using chrome or YouTube you may think that your modem is the issue but no I have a g4 on marshmallow and it runs faster..... any one with this issue /---- im on nougat 7.0

Poor Phone. Just one year and Phone has gone dead, failing to turn on. Problem with power button before one year. Poor battery performance. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.
