Hi!
I'm from Canada. Bought lgh850 from UK during brexit( 30% cheaper). Best phone i never had. I'm comparing new phone with it and nothing temped me to change it. Reason: size, removable battery, speed, screen and bootloader unlockable witch after lg do not support it, i will be able to update it with custom rom. I' m not ready to switch to non-removable battery phone yet. On top of all this, lg g5 is very easy to repair. Can be done yourself. News phones with non-removable batttery and waterproof are to glued and sealed make them to expensive to be fix. Ha! Finally, i never had in 19 months any problems with my lg g5 h850.

    Had the LG G5 for approximately 1 year. Trouble with black screen tha twould not wake, then battery dump (50% to 0 in a few minutes), trouble reviving phone when switching batteries - after first couple of months. Eventually tried to fix power button as recommended which ruined the phone completely. I would NOT recommend this phone.

          I have been used lg g5 for 1year now.And i am facing some problem.Like:::
          1.youtube video/movies (i mean long videos like 1-2 hrs) lagging after 3 secs.
          2.phone also lagging after a long used without restart.
          3.Battery draining is the main problem.if i take a video (about 5mins 4k/2k resolution) it drain soo fast that i can't used it in a long tour.100% to 60% in auto brightness and in daylight and full brightness it down to 40/50%.and if i take some pictures with that it down to 20/30%.
          Soo can anyone help me by solve this problem???

                  I've had my G 5 for 3 weeks now, after the 1st week I lost all my contact phone #'s. Not the contacts, just their #'s. Verizon couldn't understand why. So they default it back to factory & I put all the # back in. That lasted 2 weeks, today after work I will b going back to verizon.

                            the phone is problematic, lg support is horrible, i sent the phone to repair 4 times they couldnt repair it properly , its been a year i am dealing with lg and the only answer i get is send the phone again. they do not care at all. i will never ever buy a lg phone again. worst customer service very disappointing. they will wait until you get enough and stop bothering them but they will not resolve your issue. they will wait until your warranty is up and then ask you to pay again. i did not fully enjoy the phone and it was co stantly on repair. stay away from this company they deserve to disappear and stop behaving like monopolists.

                              Just after the warranty expired, the back camera stopped focusing properly and it stopped fast charging properly. Phone is also extremely vulnerable to water. Was talking to someone who killed it because they were moving boxes and sweat got through the fingerprint sensor.

                              I liked the phone a lot until just after the warranty when everything started failing.

And ive only had it happen on apps where i have the brightness maxed out and its a app that doesnt move often like old plasma tvs had a problem with street fighters health bars

                                      Best phone i have ever owned my first phone was a flip phone then i went to a iPhone 4 huge upgrade btw. Then i started getting into technology alot and realized the iPhone can only be as smart as they make it so i jumed ship to android and it was some cheap plastic screen phone but it was as quick as my 4 and did way more then i upgraded to the lg g2 and fell in love with the design. Eventually i got the g4 buyer beware it blows. But then i got the g5 as a last attempt from lg and it blew me away the finger print scanner is in the best spot ever my finger always hits it even when i don't mean to. I dont like how they moved the volume buttons to the side i think for listening to music it made it easier to change volumes if the phone was in your pocket. Moving on the camera is great but nothing to write home about.. The screen is great again not the best but you arent spending a huge amount of money on the phone (i paid about $250 at amazon) the back camera glass is very fragile atleast for me before i got a good case i cracked the glass twice. Somewhat easy diy fix. The thing that makes the phone shine isnt the mods but the removable battery i cant tell you how valuable this is even if you don't battery swap so your phone instantly has 100% plus you can get a new battery when yours gets to old and if your charger port or speakers break or get stuff in them $20 later you have a brand new bottom clip/speakers/charger port. Again buyer beware some clips may or may not work i believe it depends on your model #. Overall i think this android phone beats every iPhone made and 99% of Android phones out there and for the price you'd almost be ignorant to at least try it.

                                        The G5 has one MASSIVE flaw that makes every other feature on this phone moot in my opinion. It is nearly impossible to answer incoming calls! When the phone displays an incoming call, pressing, pressing and holding, swiping, whatever, has no effect and it's a hit or miss if you'll be able to get the phone to pick up before it goes to voicemail. This is a HUGE flaw by LG andan unforgivable one regardless of any other features this phone has. I have seen this unable to answer phone issue on 3 separate G5's so I know it wasn't just my particular device.
