I got Android 7.0 update more than 6 months ago. After which I got 2 more security patches too. I live in Germany. Download LG Bridge application to your PC and update manually. I hope it helps.

i am trying to find any service outlet in any country to see why taking fotos of orange always come out yellow ? bright orange is bright yellow. I tried many cams..
Anyone might know of an internal gama adjustment or a LG support office. I've tried all on facebook from europe to Asia. USA LG told me that only in USA do they offer support.

I have an lg g5 just got it june 13th. Have had a otterbox case on it from the start and just noticed today my glass over camera lens is broke anyone have that problem? I do not recall dropping it and almost always have the clip attached unless charging it at noght

This phone is a great bargain when you consider that it benchmarks very close to the Google Pixel XL.
I really love the camera on it and the wide angle is fantastic in good light. I've had one for over a year and the only problem is that the rear camera lens does get scratched when not protected by a case or film.
The ability to have a spare (charged) battery for it when I'm traveling is great.

That is why you can replace the stock battery to a bigger, higher capacity extended battery like ZeroLemon or Mugen extended battery. It is the main reason why V20 is better than G5. G5 does not have removable back so it's not possible to make extended battery for G5, that's why you can't find any.
Moreover, in a post-apocalypse situation if your phone has removable battery and removable back cover, you can mod it to work with 18650 batteries. 18650 batteries are standard, more widely available, so there is a good chance that you will find them in the local shops.
