I had came across one massive design flaw with the g5 that I haven't found mentioned anywhere else. I'm quite a clumsy person with phones and try to combat this with thick cases and glass screen protector, but due to the curved design of the top of the phones screen which is also glass. I couldn't use a case or a screen protector to keep it safe. Due to this as soon as it landed a small tumble, it cracked right over the front facing camera and the crack continued down under the screen protector and damaged the screen.
Just something to consider before buying a g5, remember to get insurance.

only issue im encountering right now is the screen overlay. i thought it was a screen burn at first but it is different with screen overlay. screen overlay can be removed temporarily by restarting the phone but still after using a couple of apps, it comes back again. hoping for fix

AnonD-474377, 09 May 2017I'm in dire need of an upgrade...and I'm in love with the G... moreThe boot loop problem was the G4 and hysteria has made it be prevalent to other lg phones and the chances of you picking up a G5 with boot loop are very slim indeed,like winning the lottery chances with it.
I have had a G5 5 months now and it's a excellent device and it's my daily driver also and I do have a Htc 10 but that ain't as good as my G5,no way.
My G5 has had zero problems and it works perfectly and sure the build quality isn't brilliant but I have mine in a love mei case anyways so I don't see that so it doesn't bother me but as far as I'm concerned I love the ability to replace the battery and the always on display is brilliant and it's very hard to go to another phone that doesn't have a always on display.
I absolutely recommend the G5 and I would honestly say if I thought it was rubbish but it's a very good smartphone

This implies good detail for each frame.

Bigger battery. And bigger screen. It has 2 screens actually. ;D
I actually would have bought it as an upgrade but the thing really is huge but it feels like it could take a beating. But the G5 has better low light front cam. Yeah, I take a lot of group selfies at the bar and at parties. Yeah we vain and phone companies know it ;P

Pretty sick phone. Should have been made with a larger screen and a bigger battery. Beautiful screen, though, for an IPS. A million times better than the G4.

Been using lg g5 . Awesome phone. I have a question though. About the camera. I selected video recording FHD60P. I recorded 4 mins video and the size was 528mb. Soo large. Is this normal. Any response bout this guys.
