LG G5 gets an update, June security patch included

Kaloyan, 13 July, 2016

LG G5 has just begun getting an update about 500MB in size. The update has no detailed change log, but LG summarizes its improvements this way:

  • Usability improvements through Google patch.
  • Phone usability and functionality has been further improved.

The update is dated June 14, which means it includes all Google patches up to June. LG has another way of updating its system apps, so if there is new functionality to some of the core apps - you can find the new versions into the App Updates section in the Update Center.

It seems LG has put some extensive work on this update judging by its size, so feel free to share your discoveries about its improvements in our comment section.

I found the problem in QuickMemo+, the contents will be lost when I save something if it is first time for new document.
