No complaints about the display, battery, and performance. But currently having camera autofocus issue, difficulties on bluetooth connection and GPS accuracy.

      So far, great.

The battery may be vary from 3hrs to 5hr sorry, quick charge in 1h20. But then I found out it doesn't matter anymore when you can change the battery. Buy 1 or 2 battery more and the dock or case to charge them, so in 3 minutes you have 100% again. The battery is more compact than battery pack and you don't have to worry about when going far away or stick to the wall waiting the battery to be charged.

Fixit rates it 8/10. I bought it's for 3 weeks, let it drop from the rooftop. Display is completely broken, which isn't covered by guarantee. Buy a display for 60€ and change it yourself: for the complete disassemble just open 8 screws, no heating gun no parts sticked by glue together. That makes me also then not worry about the burn in even if it happens. Zack Zack! Change new display in less than 30m.

And I think maybe due to changing the battery everyday so I keep restarting, it really helps with the smoothness. Much better than my Nexus 6, which was a pain. That means from little to none lag.

With Nexus 6 I can hardly use outdoor when it's really bright even though it was the max brightness. Not a problem for g5 se.

G5 se seems to use the same components of g5, so it's not hard to find replacement I think.

Important features why I chose it: radio/FM, led notification, almost last Android (7.0), quick charge, (small form 5.2 in), fingerprint scan (on rear which I also like). I get more: changeable battery, infra red light, dual camera (with wide camera which I found using a lot, because I takes photos mostly indoor or landscape, it's that the best though but for the purpose is great), module type so components can be changed easily, I mean extremely easy; really bright screen

Can I ask you about the thermal issues and the notorious bootloop that spread across the LG G4? Does it also happen in your G5?

Also, how is the performance so far of your G5? Since I realise that the G5 SE got the weaker Snapdragon 652 instead of the 820, which the normal G5 had.

I am expecting a long usage time with this handset, by not replacing it any sooner than 2 years, while the phone not being obsolete for until at least 2018. Do you think that it's possible?

So, what do you think? should I buy this phone, since I also live in Indonesia? Bogor to be precise hehe...

Thanks so much for your reply!

Because if it is that hot idle you wouldn't be able to touch it. If you're taking a shower you burn your skin at 50 celcius . That means it isn't celcius. I live in Sweden so I know about celcius as we use it and if you go out in 20-30 celcius you will sweat like crazy.

I have the same high temperature readings in my G5 SE in the pa_therm0... but the back is actually cold and the screen as well, the rest of the sensors shows no more than 33 celcius, the phone is working great and no problem at all. Probably it's some kind of wrong reading from the GPU-Z app or else.

Could you please use cpu-z app and go to to the thermal tab then scroll all the way down until you find pa _therm0, read the number and get back here to tell me the number? I'm using this phone for 10 month since august 2016, this is my opinion :
                                - Battery not gotten worst, i still have 3 to 4 hrs SoT and have 2 battery kits, but i can say the battery not as good as samsung device
                                - Display still good till today and i'm not planing changing my device since 2k resolution still limited to flagship device (i have no problem, no ghosting, no burn, etc and i already tested it with LCD Tester)
                                - Great Speaker

And the cons i met :
                                - My Battery Cover (the place u put the battery) starting to have a gap with the device (but who cares because my phone still working properly)
                                - Keyboard have a little lag after i updated to nougat
                                - Fast charging made my device hot
                                - Hard to get LG accessories in my country (Indonesia)

But overall its a great device and at the daylight, my photos still greater than S7 edge (when u zooming in).

This is an excellent phone. It looks nice and the fingerprint entry is brilliant. I have always had Samsung, but this model seems better. The camera is awesome, and the speed of processor is very fast. Plenty of memory. Audio great. It even has fitbit! Best of all, you can replace the battery. I can also connect to my PC easily through wifi, and the phone doesn't need to be rooted. 10 out of 10.

Great phone, everything runs fast and no lag at all, the camera and the manual mode are just amazing, the display very vivid and clear... only downside is the battery life, kind of short.
