LG G6 launched in India with extensive discounts and offers

Prasad, 24 April 2017

As we had reported earlier, LG has launched the G6 in India for INR 51,990 ($806). The phone will be available offline through retail outlets and online exclusively through Amazon.

The pricing for the G6 is significant, as it undercuts its rival the Samsung Galaxy S8 (INR 57,900/$898) by a big margin, not to mention its even more expensive sibling, the Galaxy S8+. But on top of that, G6 buyers will also get INR 2000 ($31) off for pre-booking the device. Furthermore, HDFC and SBI credit card customers will get further INR 5,000 ($78) as cash back. There is also a 50% off discount on the LG Tone Active+ headset if purchased along with the phone. There is also INR 14,100 ($218) worth of EA game content free with the device. Jio customers will get 100GB 4G data and additional 10GB with every recharge.

The phone will go on sale later this week in black, white, and platinum.

As I am listening music for most of the time in mobile, (current model - HTC 10), The issue that bothers me is that Quad DAC of G6 version is not available for Indian Market. :( Else, it's a definite go for G6.
