We have tried to provide the V30 ThinQ Pie OS software in the second quarter we mentioned through the bulletin, but we will adjust the distribution schedule to July to compensate for the essential improvements found during the quality stabilization process.
IÂ’m sorry to have to adjust the schedule in order to provide better software quality because it was an unavoidable thing to add new UX UX 8.0 to show better function to our customers.
That means LG V30 ThinQ users will have to wait for another month to get to experience Android 9.0 Pie.

LG G7 Thinq is among the best Phone and better than Honor, Huawei,One Plus and Asus phone and Xiaomi devices.The only problem slow update.

I really like using this phone, but the update situation is absolutely RIDICULOUS.
I have a Philippines-specific model of the G7 and that has seen ZERO UPDATES since June 2018! Whereas the virtually identical Hong Kong model has just received its Pie update!!!
Naturally, I just flashed the Pie ROM from Hong Kong. And it now feels like I have a new phone again. The update is great, but good God the painfully slow rollout just hurts.

G7 is very solid and reliable smartphone. Perfect lcd display, very nice for the eyes, great colors and calibration. Battery is surprisingly good, i have 6-7 hours SoT on mixed usage, wich is perfect for 3000 mah battery. The phone is fast, SD845 doing the job perfectly fine. The weak point is the camera - just good camera, but not flagship level. But its not most important thing to me, so i am very satisfied with the phone.

This is excellent phone, and works great. If have to complain, battery could be little bigger but still works fine for a day. Wide angle camera has been surprising nice for taking pictures of bigger objects like buildings or inside with little room.

Phone is sexy enough, loved sound , loved wide angle, loved display, but lg should improve the way they update their phones

Lanz, 03 Jul 2019Hi! I have a LG g7 thinq+ g710n (which is a Korean variant)... moreEvery Korean Variant has Korean apps pre-installed. You can download a new firmware if you want to but I don't think that these apps affect your phone's performance at all. I used a couple of Korean phones. All of them were the same as International variants. Your phone is water resistant as well. It has all the specs of an International model. The only difference is the addition of some Korean apps and maybe the language.
