got this phone, & for those who are asking
x2 digital Zoom pictures
10 MMS video
15 non-MMS video
dual band
picture phonebook does'nt seem to work
very loud ringtone, people are startled when this phone rings;)
No cliking sound when taking picuteres:)
Only 3.2meg
ANYBODY DID THIS?
Flash the firmware to have
JAVA?

the phone is cool to use and has nice feattures in general. Nothing outstanding really.
The LG G8000 has no java support though, which is poor for such a new gen phone. There is 3270kb memory for audio, imaging, video and for dl. Enough I suppose, because you are not going to keep everything in the phone memory forever. the clips are 250kb on average with good audio.
If it is more memory with java you want, go for the LG 8150, it has 64mb!

I owe the Samsung V200...and had the pleasure to encounter this LG G8000 a few weeks later to my purchase...I must say the audio and setup are spectacular...better than the Samsung.. Camera and display are the same though Lg has wider display ... Samsung though is much more of fun....one finds a lot of downloads for it making it much more fun to vary day by day... Lg has also WAP 2.0 which makes connection faster... one last Lg advantage is its balanced weight when flip is opened...Samsung is unbalanced towards the display-half..making it stressful to keep it open for huge amount of time...

I have this mobile since couple of days and now I have to belive that it the best camera phone round, even better than Samsung V200 or Panasonic GD87.

In Pakistan I think LG is growing very fast. There new release i.e. G8000 camera mobile phone. This mobile is even better than samsung v200 and panasonic GD87 as it can make video clip upto 10 second of nine event. The large LCD and tone are excellent.

so who's using this phone now? is it any good or bad? am now using the G7020 & it seems to be ok, can dowload pics & tones & can sync with outlook too bad it doesn't have java.

As far as I could see in the memory manager: shared mem for all (audio,video,...) ! -> the new phone, featured about 3000 KB free ! And this is very sad !!!!!
