tomvich, 29 Nov 2022I have been using the G5 for many years and now I need to u... moreWell, if you use KMplayer on the G8 to play your videos, the slowest speed is 0.25x and the fastest is 4.00x. I highly recommend KMplayer. Also, the LG G8 can record up to 4k 60FPS. I highly recommend this phone.

I have been using the G5 for many years and now I need to upgrade. The one feature I like of many is the variable speed Video playback on self recorded videos. Tap screen once enables playback speed from 0.5x to 1.5x.
Question : Does the G8 have this feature ?

Bought it a few months back from eBay brand-new and factoy unlocked for $232.19. On Mint Mobile, the fastest download speeds I have gotten so far is 133 Mbps or 16.625 MB/s. Crazy fast 4G LTE download speeds! Only downside is this phone doesn't support 5G but who cares! These speeds are more than adequate for a 3 year old flagship smartphone. It's a great value for the price. Plus Wi-Fi Calling works great!

Anyone who wants to "cheat" and get a flagship-grade experience for dirt cheap should buy this phone. SD855 still performs like a high mid-tier phone. A refurbished one goes for $129 right now on Aliexpress.
I've bought many refurbed LG phones from AE and you can't even tell they are used. The mobo and FP reader are probably the only used parts, the display seems brand new.
If you are a handyman, LG phones are also very cost-effective in the long run. Spare LG parts are very cheap.
Little did LG (and tech reviewers) know that their phones would become so relevant a few years later.
