Buying LG G8x at 20k is a no brainer...also for all those who are saying "dont buy"...just trying to convince people so its left for them. Its a proper flagship go to a LG showrrom and hold it in your hand. I bet its a worth buy even at 40k.

Incredibly innovative and well thought out. Puts the competition to shame. Competition? Doesn’t actually have any competition for a decent dual screen phone.

Even its 20k in sale ,. i would prefer redmi or realme smart phones most probably poco m2 pro.,.A decent choice . these phones are tried and tested in market . Lg phones are not in the lots of hands . so by chance there will be a issue then who is gonna rectify that and what about after sale service. . this is very risky to handle also it has 3 screens technically , we bother for one screen with guard and cover and all . what would we do with this one,.

I have the LG G8x ThinQ ... and the screen res can actually be changed... and it's max is 2880x1440. The other two options are: 2160x1080 and 1440x720.

It will be on sale in India on Fli... moreJust bear in mind about the cons that comes along with the phone like not regular or fast software updates. And we can't say much about the number of major Android upgrades LG's going to provide. There's another con which wouldn't bother everyone but me is a notch in 2020.
Rest everything looks great be it the build, IP68 certification, OLED display, headphone jack with quad DAC, last year's flagship SoC(SD855). I would definitely recommend you this phone specially at that price 20,000INR(270$) even without the dual display accessory. Just see if the pros match with your priorities in your new buy and you can look past the cons.

Since it will be sold at 20k INR (around $300), does it make sense to buy it or better skip it & go for other phones in this range - Poco X3(sd732), realme X3(sd855+) or realme 7 pro (sd720). I anyway need to buy a phone in next 2-3 months.

no doubt phone is good but nobody will be interested in buying this after 6 months as 5G is near. 5G can be launched in next 8-12 months in metro cities and then this will be a waste.
