My first LG after several Samsung, LG put a lot of thoughts in the G Pro 2 details in making phone very friendly & enjoyable by user. Some may say this doesn't match the new S5 which I was waiting for but I'm glad I got this.

[deleted post]buddy this phone is not yet launched in india and i seriously doubt that it will ever be launched cause they are already very late to launch it and note4 will be launched soon. get it from hongkong or US, i am planning to get it from US , its costing some 35000rps for red version 32gb from negri electronics. But they wont deliver it outside US, u need someone to bring it from US

WHEN reduce use of the phone, the battery would last two days as AT ME GOING, NO PROBLEM with a microphone, so you must have a bad network and signal and bad hearing. YOU HAVE APPLICATIONS FOR EMAIL market, if you do not correspond to the factory-installed applications

Great smartphone, but battery very fast discharges - I have to charge it twice a day! Another complaints: some interlocutors say they hear me bad; when I receive an incoming call, there is a visible delay before appearing telephone app with contact photo on display; a bug in Email app - it syncs only Inbox folder, Sent folder doesn't (I use IMAP). LG, we need urgent an update! THX.

Now is common named as Spirit1: Real FM Radio 4 AOSP,actually they are the same except that the latest version does support G2.
If i not wrong, they do have the sipirit2 as well,but cater to more on the rooted sets.
Yes,it confirmed works on G2(D802) perfectly,and best NO internet connection needed to any stations.You can say it's offline radio,and not those you need internet connection to get your radio work.
No doubt G2 does have the stock radio app,but i DO NOT use them anymore,as i personally feel that the sipirit radio reception is far stronger and the sound quality is much crystal clear than the stock one.The Ui interface is also easy to manoeuvre.
Besides that, one plus point for sipirit radio,it can be function/operated on airplane mode,whereas the stock radio app can't work on airplane mode,this is what i like most about sipirit radio.
Hope it helps,i still wish that any G PRO 2 users here could try out the sipirit radio app and let's know whether it works.Thanks for all.

For those whose wanted the FM Radio on your G Pro 2,you can try to install an app called
"Spirit1: Real FM Radio 4 AOSP".
I tried this app on my G2,it works perfectly,as you have aware of the G PRO 2 specs are quite more or less similar to G2,both having the Snapdragon 800 chipset,with its built-in FM radio hardware,i suppose this radio app should be able to work on your G Pro 2 as well.
Unfortunately i do not have any G Pro 2 on hand now,so not able to try it and let your know,i mean no harm trying it,if it works on your G Pro 2,you just got an additional feature on your set,you lose nothing at all,why not ?
Besides this radio app doesn't require any internet connection to tune in to your favourite stations,it's free on air radio and best of it,you need not have to root your device to get it work,so no hassle,no troubles.
If anyone is trying it,please do come back here and post back whether it works on your G Pro 2.

The battery test is not well done. Both phones at 50% brigthness playing videos and the LG got a poor time endurance. Both phones should be at the same brigthness as we look at them, so because the LG has twice the brightness of the note 3 it should be like this: the note 3 at 50% brightness and the LG at 25%
