IPS LCDs which are the ones that LG is using will output a better or more realistic portrayal of colors of the real world while Super AMOLEDs are much vibrant or kind of a bit saturated thus making the colors look warm. for example the color green will look greener and, so if you are transferring an image from your Samsung to any device using IPS LCDs you will notice a significant color difference, as much as we would want, todays smartphones should be having a display that is capable of portraying realistic colors, that's why many people are into IPS LCD.

                              Everyone has their personal openion. I like AMOLED over LCD , few prefer more natural colors of LCD.
                              Its like comparing oranges and apples.
