This is absolutely the worst phone I have ever owned. If I hadn't been given it for free, I would not be using it. I have owned it for about 8 months now.
It is so slow and cumbersome. The battery life is just the worst.
Texting on this piece of crap is an exercise in futility. It takes for ever just to get a few words out of it.
The camera, while taking decent pictures, takes around 6 years for the shutter to activate. In that time most of the people that were meant to be in the photo had grown up, got married and had children.
The wifi works well, as does the GPS. If it wasn't for the GPS working this phone would've been thrown against a wall a long time ago.
For the love of god please don't buy this phone, it just encourages them to produce even more rubbish.

Bought one year back in Hyderabad. Now I came back to Colombo and touch is not working properly :( when u click at someplace it recognise it as some other place as the result when u try to lauch some application it'll lanch other application. How sad! Gonna go for Samsung Ace.

Maybe You use the phone in a wrong way .. but its a good phone and it only costs 150$

You need to update to Andoid 2.1, before you can save applications to memory cards. Previous versions could only use phone memory.

I completely agree with the first user. Apart from it's nice looks the LG GT540 is hopeless. The phone is slow, touch screen is very very poor and it continuously crashes. It's not worth the money.

DO NOT buy this phone. Ive had it for a year now and I am really dissapointed. The Memory is slow - it keeps crashing and I keep having to reset it every week.
It holds up to 5 Apps MAX at any one time.
Please, PLEASE save yourself the money and do not buy this terrible, terrible phone.
