Just if anyone from New Zealand is interested in the availability of the official 2.1 (Eclair) update, I've been notified by Vodafone that "I can confirm that we are currently testing this at the moment and should be available within the next 2-3 weeks." LG Aus/NZ have released the update, but Vodafone NZ have to test it on their network before making it available. -just a heads up to any fellow kiwis waiting for it.

Rahul, 15 Nov 2010Hi..i want to purchase this fone so i want to know 4m u tha... moreI have owned this phone for a week and all I can say is that the hole experience of it is really poor, battery life if you are lucky 2 day max ( even without using wi-fi, bluetooth etc ) also I was really disappointed with built quality as I have noticed that call it buttons on that plastic panel was already non responsive as well as screen is not that responsive as well as HTC Wildfire. Try to save some extra money and get a Wildfire as I did.

is your looking for offline MAPS-- use mapdryod, you need wifi to download maps to memcard for offline browsing,,,,
and if your looking for offline dictionary USE concise oxford dictionary(to download goto 4shared.com then search concise oxford English dictionary.apk then save it to SD then install in your phone,,,)
after installing dictionary you need wifi/data comm. to download the words and meanings.... and save it to memcard for offline usage of dictionary

Fist point, you can't, you need hands.
Second, treat it as a mini pc, so make folders on the sd card, and finally, set whatever programme up to use them as your save point, otherwise, the only time you can save in different folders would be to copy directly to the sd cards folders...

Just upgraded to Android 2.1, was a seamless experience straight from the South African LG website, did have some problems whilst I was downloading the Android file to my pc but eventually came right after 3 attempts. Otherwise the actual OS upgrade went smoothly, takes about 20 mins after you have downloaded the software.

go to the market, and download yahoo messenger, or go onto yahoo's homepage, enter your phone number, and download yahoo messenger.
The market also has games for download..
not too hard to understand, if you think about it logically, the Android market is where you get apps and games..

i have never seen this kind off phone with fearture and good battery backup and andorid 2.1 version good thing is we can download number applaction .. brose speed is to good .
