If you want Sense, then buy an HTC phone, pretty much a simple answer.
Other launchers and widgets/apps will give you a certain amount of freedom, and extras, but if you feel the need for Sense, then HTC is has to be.
Personally, I use ADW, and a selection of widgets, and I'm happy enough.
Sense, IMO, is just a glitzy skin, and really, if you are that sad that what phone you use depends on or needs to have a certain skin, then theres not much hope is there.
I'm tired of the HTC look anyway, it's so generic now, and practically everywhere..every ****ing phone has to have it, or people want it..why? to be like sheep?...who knows..

Not really, but you can use other launchers or apps, and get an "-ish" experience.
Depends on what you like really, as some prefer it, others don't.

Stranger things have happened..If you can't carry out a calibration of your screen, to get it working, try using your fingernail edge to swipe it down..
or, heres an idea, press the menu touch sensor, and select Notifications...same thing.
Resistive screens are slightly different towards the edge, more pressure is needed.

The root worked for me, but the second way for app2SD didn't so i used the first link.
Also, when you make your partitions, make sure they are both primary FAT32, and primary Ext2, and thats all you see on the SD card, nothing else, in the partition programme.

To do this you need to follow the instructions very carefully as found in the links provided by RBF a fewpages back. You will probably find it near some of my comments regarding v2.1.

hi i have upgraded to android 2.1 ...
i wanted to knw can the applications b installed on memory card instead of phone memory ....because using this for since 2 weeks and i have already used up 112mb of memory very less remaining on handset ...please give me some suggestions pals....
