Just upgraded to SwiftDroid 2.3.7 last week (check XDA-Developers forum on the topic - this ROM unlock full power of the harware video accelerator) and now my GT540 runs Dungeon Hunter and N.O.V.A. (both games designed for Samsung Galaxy SII !!!) at full speed. With the strong community behind it this phone gives amazing results comparable to high-end 800USD phones at 1/10th the price (for a second-hand unit).

I heard qwerty keyboard is weary uncomfortable and it is not so durable ... Is that right ?

Best handset , i am using from past 2 year's.
sometimes becomes slow.
Thats it ..

ram, 08 May 2012hi this is a good phone easily upgradable to android 2.1 co... moreI can upgrade my phone to Android 2.1 successfully, but it is not working well. I lost the dialing button, contact list and I got error messages many times. Do you have any idea on it? Furthermore I cannot re-upgrade it.

I am using this phone for a year..and im satisfied even it run slow and cant save apps to micro sd bec im using 2,1 eclair..camera is great specially on goOd sunny days try to shot focus on flowers u will see..the only thing that i loved most is the phone pixel density..i enjoy watching videos in its pixel..compare to other..

Brilliant entry level Android handset with A-Gps and loads of apps available.
Got mine at the Orange Clearance shop in Argyle Street Glasgow for only 49.99??? What a steal!!! Loaded it up with Squeezebox player and saved myself £100!!!
